How much milk?

I know this sounds terrible but I have NO CLUE how much my babies eat! I decided to pick up a shift at my college waitress job to get some extra cash and I'll end up missing their last feeing before bedtime. My mom and DH will have to give them a bottle but I don't know how much EBM to thaw out. How much are your 4 month olds taking per feeding? I at least need an idea. I haven't given them a bottle since they were about a month old and that was just one time, so I don't even remember how much that was. TIA.

 

Mine are five months tomorrow, but they've been taking in the same since 4 months. Henry takes 8 oz 4x/day, and Ellie takes between 5-8oz 4x/day. I suppose if you are feeding them more often, it may be a little less! Good luck on the job! Suzi

 

Mine are taking about 6 oz. per bottle, five times a day....of half EBM and half formula.

 

Mine are 5 months but they have been taking usually 6oz a feeding 5x a day. Hope this helps. I know this won't help you since you bf but I keep all their leftover formula in their bottle and measure out how much they eat at the end of the day.. We usually end up with about 4 oz a day that we don't eat so that puts us eating about 26oz a aday.

mine take 6 oz 5x/day also. They are 16 weeks old today.

 

Mine are 15 weeks and my son takes 8oz. 4x a day and my daughter 6-7 4x a day!

 

Wow, how can I get mine to eat more at a feeding, less often? They eat 4-5 oz initially when they get up, but then during the day its anywhere from 3-5 oz, every 2-3 hours (of EBM and formula). All day! They sleep through the night, so I assume they just need to eat a lot to make up for it during the day. We added it up the other day and it was around 30 oz total for the day for each of them (more for our boy).

 

Thanks so much guys. I think I'll take down 16 ounces just to be safe.
