How much milk are your 1-year-olds drinking?

I'm just curious about how much milk/formula/bm your 1-year-olds are drinking? My boys just finished their last frozen EBM and I am still mixing their whole milk with formula. They are using the Munchkin soft spout sippy cups really well. They get a sippy first thing in the morning (8oz) and then they get 2-3 more sippies of 4oz during the rest of the day. They love to have a sippy when they wake up - and one before bed before we brush their teeth.

I've been substituting sippy #3 with water and a snack and that seems to make them just as content instead of formula/milk. So, they've been getting about 16oz of milk/formula per day. Are other 1-year-olds getting about that much?

Mine are getting 24 oz of milk per day for now. This is our pedi's recommendation because she wants the little ones to put some weight on. They are in the 5th percentile for weight right now.

Mine were probably getting too much at age 1. They are now getting 24 oz per day and about 8 oz juice. I do offer water through the day, but they really don't drink it. I know they aren't supposed to get that much juice. If I give less then that, they get constipated.

    Thanks, everyone!

They seem to be spitting up less now that they get water and a snack at 4:00. I think that was filling them up too much. Though, they would love to drink milk all day long, I think. They love their sippies! :)

at our one year appt, our pedi said no more than 16oz. so they get 6oz in the morning, 4oz at lunch and 6oz in the evening

At a year our pedi said 16-24 ounces was a good amount. At one they were lucky to get in 16 ounces, now its probably less but I supplement with cheese and yogurt. I offer milk with meals and with their bedtime snack and water between meals and let them choose how much to drink, my guess is they drink around 2-4 ounces of milk at any one sitting and probably have 4-5 ounces total of water a day. I don't regularly do juice b/c they seem just as happy with water.

We're still on high-cal formula (until we run out) and the Ped said at least 18 oz. a day. Between that and the milk they get in sippies (not much) I'd guess they are really getting about 20-22 oz. a day. They are both under 3 percentile for weight, so I'm still kind of pushing the formula/milk.

Thanks everyone! Sounds like the 16-20oz my boys are getting is basically the same as the other babies their age! :)
