Just wondering if we are normal.

When do your 4 year olds go to bed? What time do they awaken? Do they take naps?

    Thanks!

Almost 4 here. They go to bed between 6:30pm and 7pm every night. Lauren asks to go to bed if its later. UP at 7am normally(some days earlier...but we encourage them to go back to bed). No naps in ages...unless there sick(all month long).

Our girls go to bed between 7-8 pm, if they are cranky and worn out 6:45pm, then we are up at 8:30am-9:30 am. They spoiled me 2 days ago and went to bed at 8 and slept in until 10:45. We just got them a pool and we played outside from 12-7:30. They stopped taking naps about 6 months ago, only when they arent feeling well do they take them now :(.

Bedtime 7 p.m., but sometimes we let them stay up until 7:30. They wake between 6 and 6:30 a.m. (on their own). They do not nap unless they are sick, or we do something unusually physically strenuous. Very occasionally a long car ride after lunch might put them to sleep, but only rarely. Mine have all given up their naps early, around age 2.5.

ETA: I put "pm" for "am."

My girls go to bed at 8 every night and the generally get up around 8 in the morning. Some mornings they get up earlier and some days I'm lucky and they sleep in but in general they get 12 hours of sleep a night. They don't nap unless we're in the car for a while and it lulls them to sleep.

My 4 year old wakes every morning at about 6:00 a.m., takes a nap (very willingly) from 12:00-2:00pm and goes to bed at 7:30 pm.

Bedtime has been 7pm for the longest time, otherwise they're cranky in the morning getting ready for school. They have to get up at 7am for school. I think I'm going to start letting them stay up later over the summer in the hopes that they'll sleep in a little bit.

They stopped taking naps just after their 3rd birthday.

Mine stopped napping shortly after they turned 3. They generally sleep between 11 and 13 hours at night.

Mine go to bed around 8 and are up by 8 the next morning usually. They don't take many naps these days.

Asleep by about 7:30. If we're lucky, they sleep until 6:30. If Jacob naps, he'll be up at 5:30.

My son isn't quite 4 yet, but he goes to bed between 8-8:30, up around 6:30-7am and naps for 2-3 hours in the afternoon. If he skips a nap he'll go to bed earlier. So he's getting at least 12 hours of sleep a day.

When my DD was 4 she didn't take naps anymore. She went to bed at 8 pm and would wake anywhere from 7:30-8:30. If she had preschool I would wake her at 7:45am if not I would let her wake herself up.

My girls are 4 1/2, they go to bed at 8 pm (but Katrina doesn't usually fall asleep until 8:30 or sometimes later). Kira usually gets up between 6 and 6:30 and Katrina will get up between 6:30 and 7. If they don't nap they will both get up closer to 7 sometimes later. They go down for a nap around 1 (usually will take 30min to an hr to fall asleep) and they get up at 4 pm.
