It usually ends up costing about $200, if we go somewhere like lazer tag or bowling, less if we do a backyard party. Because my boys birthdays are in the summer, we don't have to invite the whole class, so usually about 15 kids are invited.

g&o are in different classes so we invite all of the kids from both classes (30 kids total) & about 12 family members, so the parties tend to be on the large size. how much we spend depends on where we have it & what kind of party it is, but $350-$400 is about the average.

We are only having family parties right now and about 18people come. We might spend at the most $50 but I think it's usually closer to $30 since we are only buying food and soda. My dad makes their cakes every year so we don't have to worry about that expense.

We tend to spend around $400. Last year we did Chuck E Cheese and invited the entire class. This year the boys wanted a Laser Tag party, so I limited them to boys only from their classes and their tiger den, due to the cost of the place. The good thing is that the pizza and cake are included. I only have to add in goody bags, which I may to t-shirts or have the place do them--they don't charge all that much for them. I do love the outside the house parties, in that all I have to do is show up, then take the boys and their gifts home. No set up, and no clean up. I do some catering work for my mom right before thier party every year, so I do earn the extra money and pay cash for the party--that is how I can justify the expense.

I do parties with friends from about age 3 on up.

    I spend somewhere around $150 - $200.

My 11 yr old just had her party. 10 kids came. They went to a gymnastics open gym for 2-1/2 hrs at $10 per kid, then came to our house for a sleepover. With food, no goody bags, that was around $175.

My twins are having their 5 yr party at our community center this year. We have a free room but I have to pay maze entry fees and food. Plus goody bags at about $4 per kid. At about $12 per kid all-in cost, $150.

I think I spent about $200 (if you don't count my labour ;) ), which I think is well worth it considering I only do one birthday party a year.
