How much do 3 week olds eat?

Hi everyone. I was just wondering how much everyone else's babies ate at 3 weeks old. The babies are eating 2-3oz every 3-4 hours right now and I was just wondering if that seemed about the same as everyone else or if they should be eating more or less.

 

My babies were eating about 2 oz. every 3-4 hours. But they were preemies. Hope this helps.

 

My babies are almost 3 weeks and they eat 3 ounces every 3 hours, on the nose. They wake up like clockwork every 3 hours for their 3 ounces.

 

Mine were eating 2oz every 3 hours but mine have never been big eaters.

 

3 oz. every 2-3 hours at that age.

 

1-2 oz every 3 hours around the clock.

 

I mostly BF but, when I do give them supplement they eat 3-4 oz. every 3 hours. I think mine may be going through a growth spurt though.

 

okay, this makes me feel so much better! i thought my babies were overeating or we were over feeding, but now i see it's normal to eat that much. whew! (i bf and pump, and will soon need to be supplementing with formula until my milk comes in more)

 

We were at 2-3 every 3 hours.
