Hi guys,

How many u/s's did you have done before the one that showed twins!?

 

I had mine done at 7 weeks - and they told me then.

Me too.

 

First one at 6 weeks.

Although, she was ready to say 1 and I said, can you look around some more? And sure enough there was the other!

 

mine was at 9wks saw 2 babies, heartbeats, and stubble legs lol, at my 6wk u/s we could only see 1 heartbeat but everything was so tiny

 

My first U/S at 5w3d showed two sacs, no H/B's yet. Then at 7w1d, two sacs and two H/B's.

 

We saw 2 during my first u/s at 7 weeks.

 

Just learned we are having twins at our first u/s at 6w4d. Saw two sacs and two heartbeats.

I saw 2 sacs at 5 weeks and two heartbeats at 6.4

 

I saw them on the first u/s at 12 weeks.

 

We saw them on the first u/s at 9w.

 

3rd ultrasound at 12 weeks

 

First one at 8 weeks.

 

1st one 7 weeks

 

We had ours at 11/12 weeks and we saw two right away.

 

Mine was at 9 weeks.

 

first u/s at 11 weeks

 

Two sacs and heartbeats at 6 weeks here.

 

We saw them at our first u/s, 7 weeks 2 days.

 

First ultrasound at 12 weeks for us! Saw 2 sacs and 2 heartbeats right away. We couldn't believe it!

 

We had our first ultrasound at 8 weeks. It was easy to see both sacs & both heartbeats then.

 

5 weeks 5 days - one of the best days of my life!

 

Saw two sacs and two heartbeats at 9w...and what a day that was!

 

We saw them both at the first u/s at 6 weeks. One hb was a little harder to find, but with a vaginal u/s they found it.

I had my very 1st OB appointment scheduled exactly at my 8 wks mark which happened to be a Monday. I was heavily spotting all weekend. They did an u/s in office immediately during the appointment and saw one heartbeat. They sent me to a u/s specialist that following Monday (at 9 wks) for a viability check. That u/s was much more advanced and DH was joking that he hoped they'd find nine babies in there so we could have a show on TLC like Jon & Kate+8, and that's when they said "It's funny you should joke about that... here's the other one!" Needless to say, DH will never joke like that again!

p.s. Twins do not run in either family at all (we've done a pretty exhaustive search on this). Truly a surprise!

 

first ultrasound at 7 weeks 5 days.

 

I went in for my frst appointment at 12 weeks and they did an exam and tried to find the heartbeat... After a while the PA said it sounded a little strange so she wanted to do an ultrasound just so I would feel comfortable about how things were going (I had a miscarriage in January of last year). Of course I was scared to death and I was with my 3-year-old so I couldn't show it!!! So they did the ultrasound and found 1 no problem then started moving the thing around on my belly and said, "Oh, do you see what I see?" I said well I see something there and something over there. It didn't dawn on me that it was twins at first until she said, "Yep, there's two babies!" I said, "I'm sorry what did you say?!"

Honestly, they are 4 months old now and I am still shocked that I have twins!!! Sometimes I look over and see two and I can't believe it!! I feel so lucky and so exhausted all at once!! I wouldn't change it for the world!

 

Heh . . . we had our first u/s at 21 weeks. No problem seeing two wiggly babies in that one!

I don't like to get an u/s at all without a good reason, but I kept telling dh that after the awful first trimester I wanted to find out if it was twins. He thought that was ridiculous. I wasn't big enough for twins. But sure enough!

 

1st u/s at 6 weeks 1 day showed 2 sacs, one heartbeat and the second at 6 weeks 6 days showed 2 hb's! Definitely one of the best days ever!

 

I had one at 6 weeks due to some bleeding and that is when we saw 2 heartbeats.

 

my first u/s was at 4.2 weeks and only 1 baby sack was seen second u/s was at 7.2 weeks two babies and heartbeats were seen third u/s at 8 weeks 3 babies and 3 heartbeats.....but we lost baby # 3 at 9 weeks

 

We had our first ultrasounda at 7 weeks and saw them then. Actually, she saw one heartbeat, and then about 5 minutes later, it was my husband who noticed the second heartbeat!

 

I had an u/s done at 9 weeks and found out it is twins.

 

At our 8 week U/S there were two heartbeats.........one strong, one weak.

At our 10 week U/S there were two stong heartbeats!!! :icon_biggrin:
