I'm now 23 weeks along, and am feeling pretty good these days. I really only have minor discomfort, nothing to really complain about. It's just harder to sleep at night, but not much.

I was wondering, (for those who are further along, or almost done with your prengnacy) when did your pregnancy start to get uncomfortable? I was thinking I'd be quite uncomfortable by this stage, but I'm not, thank goodness. I wonder if it will be about the 30 week mark? I'm kind of nervous about it. I have a very active 20 month old boy that keeps me on my toes, as well as 3 other kiddos to care for. LOL!

About 29 weeks is when working got hard for me. Walking up stairs and standing up for long periods of time was too much. That was around when I had done too much and was put on bed rest shortly after that. About 32 weeks I started to get really uncomfortable. I started to feel like my insides were being beaten up, horrible heart burn, cramping etc. I'm 32 weeks 5 days now and I'm so uncomfortable and just done!!

By 25 weeks I really had to slow down. It felt like hitting a wall but once I accepted that I had to make changes to accommodate this belly, I felt better. Now I am 31 weeks and I am pretty uncomfortable. I have one baby's feet in my pelvis kicking my bladder. My skin is starting to feel very stretched. I can plan to do one thing a day. So if it's a doc's appt., grocery shopping, attending an event, etc. that's it. Anymore and I will feel wiped out the next day. I'm sure I have even more fun ahead but I feel like the end is in sight!

35 weeks ... before that it was pretty easy, especially up to 32 weeks. At 34 weeks they were estimated 12 1/2 lbs combined. I delivered them after an induction at 38w2d at almost 8lbs a piece. Yes, those 3 weeks were difficult, especially sleeping but other than that it was a smooth ride!

I don't think I felt really bad until about week 34. (It worked out well, because that is when my husband came home from Iraq.) I did hire someone to clean once a week once I hit week 30, b/c it was getting hard to mop and especially do the bathrooms. (Even though my twins are here I am not giving her up! :D )

I have to say the last three weeks has been my breaking point! The constant burning of my hips, not sleeping, not eating I could go on forever...

I'm actually feeling better at 28 weeks than I have felt the entire pregnancy. I think it's that I've finally upped my iron dosage high enough, plus spring is here. :D Now, that's compared to not being able to lift my head off the pillow except to puke for three months, so perhaps my expectations are pretty low. I certainly can't stay on my feet for long periods of time or anything like that. My aches and pains are less now that I'm able to do some gentle exercise. I'm relieved that things have actually improved; I was afraid once I hit the third trimester it would all be downhill and so far it's not.

My discomfort started at 28 weeks. I can barely get any sleep and always feel like I have indigestion even if I don't eat anything. Also, because of the feeling of indigestion, I always feel like I want to vomit. Hopefully it will all be over in the next six to seven weeks.

I would have to say around week 28 or 29 is when I started really feeling uncomfortable. I can't do a whole lot anymore without being totally wiped. Showering is a huge event. I have to lay down after because I get so lightheaded and dizzy. I'm starting to notice the skin on my belly is getting more itchy every week. It's those lovely stretch marks that are now taking over my belly. It's weird because it's sort of numb too. I can only do one thing a day, whether it's a dr. appt. or going to someone's house. That's about all I can handle. I need to be near a bed or couch to lay down too. I can't sit for very long anymore. I had to go to a baby shower at 29 weeks and it was hard to sit through. I also had my labor classes, which were 4 1/2 hours long and they were hard to sit through. I noticed all the other mom's with one baby were fine. It was just me readjusting my position every five minutes. Taking the tour of the birthing unit after sitting for so long was hard. I almost sat on the floor at one point. Enjoy feeling good. You never know how long it will last. You may feel good for the rest of the pregnancy. Everyone is different.

    5 weeks!

In truth my pregancy was pretty uncomplicated. But if I hadn't been on this forum I wouldn't have known that. I'm so amazing by what so many of you have been through with mulitple complications in a mulitple pregnancy.
My pregnancy evolved like this 5 to 20 weeks just felt icky. 20 to 30 weeks struggled with undiagnosed gull bladder problems, by 30 weeks I figured out what I could and could eat, but from 30 to 35 weeks I could hardly stand my size and weight (I had to go upstairs and walk up a hill at work)--AND I had PUPPS.

For me was around 32-35 weeks was when I was really feeling pregnant. Couldn't walk fast, took hours (not really) to turn over in bed, hurt too much to have sex so my poor SO was deprived for awhile of sex :D Get short of breathe easily, was swollen. Went on bedrest at 35 weeks, which was a nice break from work before the babies were going to take over my life :D

My entire pregnancy has been uncomfortable. It's getting even worse now that the babies are so much bigger and putting so much pressure on my softened cervix.

I will be 34wks on friday & I'm really not that uncomfortable. I also have an 18mth old to chase after all day so that can get a little hard at times. I'm not really that big so that may have something to do with it, in fact I'm smaller with these 2 than I was with my son. The only real thing that bothers me is the pressure about halfway through the day. I think if you stay active & do what you would normally do within reason your body will adjust to the pregnancy. I have had to slow down alot lately but I really can't complain.

:bow2: My hats off to women like you. I was that far along and occasionally would watch my nephew who was around 18 months and OMG was it hard!! I can't react fast so if he fell, I wouldn't be able to get off the couch quick enough. I couldn't play with him. I was exhausted after two hours!

I hope I'll be like you!!! That's great! My problem is my 4 year old and 20 month old are both very, very active. My 7 year old is going through a naughty stage that stresses me out a lot, and my 12 year old is already acting as though he's in his teens and has an attitude, lol!!! So, I've got almost every stage of child you can have and there are days I need to get away from the kids and get a break, lol! I'm thinking with all I have going on, I'll be lucky to make it to 30 weeks, lol!

I've been a LOT more uncomfortable with this PG that I was EVER with my first. Seriously. Right now I have a very hard time sleeping, and have been for a long while. Walking up stairs sucks, too.

But I keep telling myself it could be a lot worse.

around 33-34 weeks is when I *really* started feeling the ailments of the pregnancy.....
I'm just taking it day by day right now and all I can say is that I'm ready for these girls to exit the womb! LOL

During my pg, it started getting really tough at the 27.5 week mark and continued to get work until I delivered at 38+1.

I thought I was getting uncomfortable by around week 26, but no, compared to now, I was pretty ok! For me, the last month has been the most uncomfortable to date, and I'm sure its not going to get any better, as they're both growing, and taking up more room - for me, this means more leg pain, pelvic pain, water rentention and trips to the bathroom. Good news though is that its not going to be like this forever, and the longer I can keep them in there, the better they'll both be in the long run :)

Helpful hint - Babies R Us sells this AWESOME tummy/back brace thats completely adjustable that you can wear for added support. I find it the daytime, it helps out fine, but at night, its my saving grace. Instead of turning in 6 stages, I can turn over in 2 or 3 without that tearing pulling sensation. It really has helped me to sleep through the night (ok, given 4 mandatory nocturnal bathroom breaks). I loooove this thing!

Haha I love this question.... well from 5wks 6days pregnant all the way until 17 weeks I was MISERABLE... throwing up 2x or more a day! Then round ligament pain hit.... I was really really comfortable and felt so good between 22-28 weeks pregnant... then at 29 weeks Oh my gosh is it over yet! I am 31 weeks right now, and I am so ready. I love feeling the babies move... but it hurts when they kick my hip bones or my ribs. I can't breath... although I don't have any complications sleeping... I have slept more now then any time during this pregnancy I am just THAT tired.

I hit the wall at 32 weeks. I was uncomfortable prior to that, but it was manageable. 32 weeks for me was when I felt like I was going to pregnant forever, that I would never know what it felt like to not be carrying around 2 babies in my belly. Despite all that, I miss being pregnant! :)

I felt pretty good from about 16-20 weeks. From 20-24 weeks I got more uncomfortable, and then around 25 weeks it was like falling off a cliff. All of a sudden I couldn't stand at the stove long enough to cook dinner -- I had to get a stool so I could stir while sitting down!

I gained a TON of weight, though. I gained 70 total, so by 25 weeks I'd gained about 55 lbs. That puts a big strain on your body, never mind the whole twin pregnancy thing. If you haven't gained as much, it might not be as bad (at least not so early).
