How many times can you lose your mucus plug?

Way back in the beginning I had a small amount of mucusy discharge with a little "old blood" doctor said as long as it was not "red blood" not to worry this was at about 25 weeks. It happened again about 2 weeks later so I went to see the doctor he said everything was ok and intercourse was probably irritating things so no more. I have not had any problems since then. Now since about 32 weeks I have been having small amounts of mucusy discharge when I wipe about 3 times a day I was told I was losing my plug a little at a time.. OK fine SO then at around 33 weeks I had a large clump of mucusy discharge when I went to the bathroom and thought ok this is it, But I still had the small amounts when I would wipe. Now today I was just standing there and felt this weird thing well I reached down and had a chunk of mucus shaped like a plug and about twice the size as the one before?? What the heck is going on with me? I am pretty sure it was the real thing this time, But IDK???

 

I have no idea about all the incidents but I'm pretty sure you can lose the plug a little bit at a time. Hopefully, this was the real thing for you!

It sounds like this is the real deal for you, and yes you can lose it a little bit at a time, it can also regenerate if you lose it earlier in the pregnancy!
