One of my daughters has 12 teeth. From what I can see (and what she'll let me look at), she's got four teeth on top, four on the bottom (the one's you can see when she smiles) and two sets of molars. One set on top one on bottom. A few people have mentioned that they are shocked at how many teeth she has. My other daughter has all the same teeth, sans the molar set on the bottom.

    Just wondering.....

I get the same reaction. My girls have had all their baby teeth minus the two year molars since they were about 12 months old!

And I think the two year molars are coming soon, they've gotten all the others at the earlier end of the spectrum.

But yes, I do get a lot of "Boy, look at all those teeth!"

WOW! What a variation! I hope your one with 14 teeth didn't use those extra ten teeth on the teeth delayed sibling! ;)

Thinking back, my neice (who's a teen now) didn't have any teeth until almost one year old...

My dd has 12 as well (8 front and 4 molars) but there are 3 more ready to pop through. Ds has 5 (2 front top, 2 front bottom, 1 molar!) but he has about 8 that look like they can come through any day...but then again, they have looked that way for months!

At 15 months, Jordan has 14 with 15 and 16 coming through at the top. Sienna has 12 with the other 4 ready to pop any second now! So lots of fun over here.

The boys both had 12 teeth at 13 months old. They're 15 months old now and cutting more teeth. The became some serious biters while they were teething, but I've just about stopped all the biting now. What a relief since now they could do some serious damage.

My two are 16 months old.

DS has all 8 teeth (4 bottom/4 top) PLUS two molors on bottom and 2 molors on top.

DD still only has 6 teeth...4 on top and 2 on the bottom.

Patrick had that many teeth at 18 months. He got his first at 5 months old. He is almost done with all his teeth now before 2 years old. So its early but I think there are a lot of kids like them! :)

Both of mine had 12 teeth at 12 months (front four on top and bottom, plus all 4 one-year molars). I don't remember exactly how many they had at 18 months, but I think the canines came in somewhere around that time. And that's still all they have -- no 2-year molars yet.

For two who didn't have a single tooth until 8 months, T&T caught up quickly and had a full set of 16 by their 18-month checkup. I thought I'd get a nice, long break from teething but not so. Those 2-year molars took FOREVER compared to the rapid-fire teething of the 8-16 months time period. They both have all 4 in now but we endured on and off teething symptoms from 20 months until just last month to get them in. NOW, I do get a break from teething since we shouldn't have anything going on until age 6 or 7.

Mine are almost 16 months, and only have 4 and 5 teeth! Jack has had the top 2 middle and bottom 2 middle, and recently got his first molar, and Lily didn't get her first until about a month ago. She has the top left and the one to its left, and the bottom right and the one to its right! A little lopsided, but very cute! But we could have an explosion of teeth and catch up in the next 2 months! (Or go into their third year with less than 10 teeth between them!)

Addison has 16 teeth and Ella has 14 teeth.

People are shocked at them too but I really think it's normal!

Imagine being born with teeth. My twins were born at 31 weeks and 6 days and stayed in NICU for about a month. I noticed while Benjamin Twin A was still in the hospital that he had something that looked like a cyst in the bottom portion of his mouth. I asked the doctors what it was and they informed me that they had already notified the neonatal dentist to come and look at my son's mouth. When i got to the hospital the next day they informed me that he came and said it would go away on it's own and there were no teeth in or under the cyst. I said Ok and in a couple of days took him home along with his brother. In about a week and 1/2 the cyst was gone and what do I see 2 little teeth. They were soft and yellow took him to the pediatric dentist and everything was informed that they would fall out and surely about 3 months ago about a week apart they fell out. People were shocked seeing a 3 month old baby with 2 teeth
