How many strollers do you have?

So I'm curious. How many strollers do you have? I have a double Snap n Go that is almost outgrown since they barely fit into their infant carriers. I have an old Peg Perego Aria that we used with our older boys. I have an old single umbrella stroller too. But I needed something with rubber tires and shocks so I bought a double BumbleRide stroller which I call the pimp daddy of strollers. It's awesome..... but.... it's a side by side which is tough at the mall, in crowds etc. It's great at the park, ball fields etc. We tried to take it to the Home and Garden show and it was a nightmare. We couldn't move through the crowds without basically having to ask people to move. Then of course we've drawn attention to ourselves and get the comments. Ugh!

So now I am wishing we also had a Phil and Ted's double where one baby sits below the other. Ahhhhhh we'd be single file and the 2nd twin would be hidden! Am I nuts? Anyone use these with babies? My girls are almost 10 months. TIA

    We have:
    1. a duoglider (that accomodated the infant carriers and now we use it without the carriers).
    2. two umbrella strollers (with connectors)
    3. a two-seater chariot

I think thats all we need :)

I don't have experience wit the Phil and Ted stroller but we have had 4 over the last four-years since our kids were born! We started with the double snap-n-go, moved to the Graco Duo Glider, had a jogger and then got a Peg Perego Aria. I wish I would have gotten two-single strollers too, but we never did and now its a little late for that since mine barely sit in the stroller much these days. But I don't think your crazy for wanting another stroller! ;) I think each serves a good purpose!

After the snap n go, I had two. I had a jogger, Baby Jogger City Series and then also a combi. The combi was good for going in and out of stores since it was so light and the jogger was great for walks. Althought I did use the jogger for quite some time as my all purpose and then finally decided to get a light weight one also.

We had a Snap & Go, and we still have a Maclaren double umbrella and a Mountain Buggy double. (We also have a cheap single umbrella stroller, but I don't count that. :D We've never had a tandem or Phil & Ted's type thing.

I can see the appeal of the Phil & Ted's as far as being lower-profile, but I always wonder what it's like for the child riding underneath -- it seems more appropriate for a little baby and an older sibling than for 2 kids the same age. I think once your kids get a little older, whoever has to ride on the bottom is going to be cranky about it, and you might not get your money's worth.

    We have:

    1) The Baby Trend Snap 'n Go (now retired in the garage)
    2) The Mountain Buggy (used for neighborhood walks/hikes)
    3) Baby Jogger Citi Mini (my everyday side-by-side)

    and a $20 umbrella stroller from B 'r Us which I don't really count...

I think if you use them all in rotation it isn't nuts but if you buy and don't use...well, then yes:)

Only had two. The snap'n go for when we had the infant seats, and a city mini double. I never felt the need for another one, the mini does as well in the mall than at the park.

Ours outgrew the double snap n go at 6 months so I guess that doesn't count anymore. We have 2 single combi flare umbrella style strollers for travelling and for small areas, and we have a baby trend jogging stroller that I love.

I so know what you mean about the phil and teds though. I would love one of those too!! They're from New Zealand, and when I was back home, all these Mums would be taking their kids around the malls in them - they were everywhere. Couldn't believe how compact they are, and the kids/babies all seemed really happy too. If I had to choose a stroller again, and I wasn't worried about money, I would totally get a Phil and Teds.

We have 3. I think we are done since we have the Valco Twin Trimode and that should run it's course with the boys.

I'm from New Zealand (the Phil and Ted's factory is just down the road!)

They are not recommended for twins - the front seat needs to have a heavier child in it than the underneath seat otherwise it's unstable. So will only really work if your children have a big weight difference. Also there is issues with the child going into the underneath seat once they get older as there is no vision. We see them here on our second hand site all the time with people selling them as they can't get both kids to get in them once they can voice an opinion!

They do a side by side model as well that's narrower than the Mountain buggy.

I have 4. SNG (no longer used), Twin Techno Maclaren, Schwinn double jogger, and a single umbrella stroller. I think that's enough!

That's good info. Thanks! My girls are 2 pounds different. One is much longer than the other. I suppose they would ***** about being in the lower seat. We'd have to take turns. I wish I could find one used and cheap here.

PS - Keep the comments coming! It helps to show my DH that I am not the only one with multiple strollers!

We have 3. Double Snap N Go, Kolcraft Contours Twin stroller, and a Schwinn side by side jogging stroller we found on Craigslist. LOL I think we have all our bases covered other than umbrellas ;) I'm sure we'll get those someday. LOL

    we have
    Graco Duo Glider,
    Double jogger
Peg Perego Aria. side by side.
i only use the duo glider if i am by my self at the pedi office as the side by side one will not fit in the hall :(
but that is the only time we use that one now. but when i need it i am glad i still have it.
the jogger we use alot and love it but its not so great for stores or mall.
the peg perego i hate how the wheels steer or the lack of it and i think i will sell it this spring.
you need different ones for your needs

We have the double snap and go, which I actually still use from time to time, although they are getting a little heavy!

We have the Valco Twin (side by side) and have found absolutely no problems fitting through anything. We've taken it to the mall,
all sorts of places where there are crowds.

We also have a side by side Jeep umbrella stroller. It is an absolute pain to use after pushing the Valco around.

We have a freebie single stroller we got when we purchased our high chairs. Not even out of the box yet. Might be nice to use when
I feel like taking a walk and just grabbing one of the girls while husband stays back with the other. I'm pretty tall, so most of these strollers
are not comfortable for me to use. That is why I am so happy with the Valco.

And, after what we paid for the Valco, there is no way I'm getting another side by side! Although, I find myself checking out the BOB from time
    to time :D
