10 oz in ONE sitting! he ate 3 hours prior as well. i BF him at that last feeding. he is still napping and should eat again at 230. i was thinking of giving him a bottle again and not BFing to see how much he eats.

at 4 months my DS was routinely taking about 8 oz at every feeding with an occasional 10 oz feeding. once he hit 5.5-6 months he was taking 10 oz at every feeding. he is my little piggy!

Wow, 10 oz is a lot! Good for him if he drinks that much & keeps it all down! :woo:

My boys are only eating 4 oz at a time, which is sometimes a struggle. Often times they will leave .5 to 1 oz of formula :-/ It is very frustrating for us because they still wake up every 2.5 to 3 hours throughout the night to eat, and we are desperately wishing they could sleep for a 5 hour stretch or more. I try to tell myself that even though they are just turning 4 months, their adjusted age is more like 2 months, so I'm trying to be patient...

My boys are 12 weeks old and they eat 5-6 oz about every 3 hours. They are actually sleeping for 6 hour stretches at night and sometimes longer. So during the day they may eat every 2 and 1/2 hours occasionally.

Jojo, I have a little piggy too! He's 14 lbs already and I call him my chunkey monkey. lol His brother is light as a feather compared to him.

:shok: That is a lot!! Here is a good list of signs to look for, as far as solid readiness.

Wow! I think there were a couple times when my boys had 10 oz at a time when they were that young. Normally at 4 months they had 4-5 bottles a day (it dropped to 4 around 4m1w when they started STTN :)) and would drink 7-9 oz per bottle.
