how many oz in 24 hours

My daughters are 4.5 months old and started SSTN a week ago, 11-12 hours. Since they sleep through, they drink one less bottle a day. I thought they would be making up for it during day, but if anything they are eating less at every feed. :unknw: They aren't on solids yet. I was just curious as to how many ounces everyone else's LO eat in 24 hrs.

 

My ped used a rough estimate of 24-32 oz per day. As long as they are close to that range, they'll be fine

 

Mine drink 24 oz plus one breast feed at 6 months and have just started solids.

I agree. If they are getting in at least 24 oz, they should be fine as long as they are gaining weight & are happy.

 

My twins are 5 months. They eat between 30 and 40 oz a day. We just started tinkering w/ solids, so the number is closer to 30 now most of the time. Mine sttn too, 11 hours or so, and have no problems with intake or staying full all night. They eaet 5 times a day, occasionally 6 if up early.

 

Jack and Abbey take, on average 5 8oz bottles a day. They also get 2 solid meals a day. In the mornings they have unsweetened applesauce mixed with baby oatmeal and in the evenings they eat 3-4 containers of baby food, each container is a different "flavor". They both sleep through the night. Bedtime is 9:30-10 and they get up, on average about 8:30. They are almost 8 months old and have been on the 2 solids a day for a couple of months, and have been having at least cereal since they were about 3 months old. They've also been sleeping through the night since they were 3-4 months old.

 

Please share how you got them to STTN? How many hours were they sleeping at 3 months?
