Just wondering how many oz. your babies are drinking at almost 6 months. My friend had a singlton and he was up to 8 oz. way back around 4 months or so if not before and she keeps saying "I cant believe they're not drinking 8 oz. yet. I mean, they were a month early and they're already 18 lbs at almost 6 months so it's not like they're starving. They get cereal in their nightime bottles and they're eating 7 oz. every four hours. In the morning they get fruit (stage one) and in the evening they get vegi's and/or fruit (stage one).. Am i doing this right or should i be progressing them faster with the foods and bottles? Let me know what you girls did...
    thanks

Mine rarely ate 8oz. even at 10-12 mos.....don't worry about it. She's maybe feeling self-conscious or something, but you have very different babies!

Mine are 5 months old. Leah weighs 13+ and drinks between 4-5 oz and Wes weighs 15+ and drinks between 5-6 oz. They do not get anything other than formula. I used to worry about them eating so little; however, they are growing like weeds. They were born 5 weeks early and weigh 4+. I agree that all babies are different!

Mine are doing 6-8 and I think that is a lot for a 5 month old, as my first was barely doing 6 at 5 months old. So don't worry about your friend's comments, she just has a little piggy, like my Patrick! [IMG]

Your babies sound quite healthy to me! By their weights I'd say they are doing just fine on 7 oz.

For the record, mine were also eating 8 oz at 4 months and are still eating anywhere from 7-9 oz per feeding or 5-6 oz if they also eat some solids. I think each baby is different and as long as they are growing well they are gettnig what they need! They'll tell you if they need more by acting fussy or crying when the bottle is empty, generally acting still hungry...

Mine are just about the same age as yours, and eat the following: Evan is 20 lbs and eats 4 6.5 oz bottles and 2 jars of stage 2 foods (one veggie, one fruit). Ava is 14 lbs and eats 5, sometimes 6 5.5 oz bottles and still hasn't taken to eating the solids yet. I think yours are right on track!!! [IMG]
