How many kids do you want to have??

I was just wondering - how many kids do you want to have??
I have 5 - ages 12, 10, 8 and 2 weeks x2 -
I would love to have 1 more maybe in 2008 or 09 -

I'm thinking we want one more, but we're not going to think about it until Spring '08. If we have one & not two, that will put our total at 4.

 

I want one more (hopefully a boy). DH says 2 more. He wants 2 more boys to even out the clan. It kind of makes sense to have another fairly soon, maybe get preggo in about a year.

 

I'd love another set of twins in 08 or 09 or two more over the next 5 years... DH would have 10 if you let him. He's the youngest of 10 and loved it growing up. We have a 7 and a 4 plus 3 mos x 2 right now.

 

We have a total of 4, ages 8, 4, and 11 month twins. We are happy with that number and done.

 

I always thought I only wanted 2, a boy and a girl. Now, of course I still need a boy. When I was working I was thinking we would try one more time. Now that I am a SAHM, I could see myself having lots of kids. Ideally, I would like to have twins again, and it would be perfect if they were boys. I'm not sure when I want to try again though. I really want to "experience" the girls before I throw more babies into the mix.

 

We're thinking of having one more - Hopefully not for about 2 more years!!!

 

I hate to be donnie downer, but we are done after the twins. We only wanted 2 & that is what we got.

 

I hate to be a downer too but after 3 kids, no $$$ and still no girl, I think we are done. If I were a millionaire, maybe I would have PDG and have one more baby.

Well, I always said I wanted 2 kids, but now that we have the girls I am pondering a 3rd...would love a little boy!

 

We had thought that we only wanted two and how perfect we got one of each. but now we cant imagine not haveing at least one more baby (if it was twins again thats ok to) if we do we would want to sooner than later in saying that i mean like a year. but if we diddent i will be perfectly happy with my family of four

 

I always wanted 2, I got 3, so I am done.

 

We always wanted 4 or 5 kids but considering we had to have fertility treatments to get these two I think we're probably done. If I get pregnant naturally in the future that would be great but something tells me it probably isn't happening. We're ok with it and don't want to do fertility treatments again. It was a real stress on us the first time around and we don't want to put the kids through that, not to mention the possibility of another multiple pregnancy. With the twins I can't afford to go on bed rest, I wouldn't want to do that to them.

 

We have 5 now. One 6, one 4, one 2 and 2 5 months. I'm pretty sure we are done, no more will fit in our van!

 

We are not sure yet. Pregnancies are really rough on my body. If we have any more it wouldn't be for two or three years. I want to enjoy the babies I have now before I add any more.

 

We always wanted 3. So we will try for one more-- we think!

 

We have 3, currently pregnant with #4. We want 7 in all. Call us crazy if you want. However whatever # we have the day I turn 30, is the # we are going to have.

 

Wanted 2, got 2 -- we're done!

 

I have 3 under the age of 1 1/2 years. So..........basically I have triplets. We're done!

 

Four is plenty for DH and I!

 

We have 3 girls, ages 4 and 2 x 8 months. I still have a hole in my heart for a little boy but...given what we had to go through to have the twins (donor egg IVF with no snowbabies left), we're probably done. Maybe. Ask me in 6 months.

 

I would love at least one more, maybe in about 2 years. We'll see if he's upto it. DH had said no more after he's 40, but I know he would love another, we LOVE being parents.

 

I always said 4 and my husband always wanted 6 because he has 5 broth and sisters. After having 5 tough months with these boys, we both cant imagine or even think about that now! I think though when they get to be 2 or 3, we will try again.

 

This is a hot topic at my house right now. I would love to have 1 more, but DH is perfectly happy with the twins. My only hang up is with the fertility issues we had I really don't want to wait too long to start the process again.

 

Had a 3 yr old (IVF), got pregnant w/ b/g twins (IVF), and 10 weeks after they were born got pregnant - AGAIN. So, we were going for 2 and would've stopped there, but God has something else planned for us. 4 under 4 and the last three will be 10.5 - 11 mos apart. And I thought it couldn't get any more exhausting than having twins!!!

 

I would love loads! My partner would have been happy with none even though he loves the twins to bits. I had no problem getting pregnant (came off the pill and within a week i was pregnant)its the lack of sleep issue. I have epilepsy which is brought on by lack of sleep and before the twins i had only ever had 2 fits over 8 years. Since i have had the twins home i have had 6 fits in the space of 9 months. So i think my partner is trying to put me off because of that. It scares the crap out of him. Lol sorry for my life story! x

 

We wanted 4 and we now have 5 so i am pretty sure we are done. I juat hope we don't have another oops baby. My only ops baby turned out to be 2. I think 5 is a great number.

 

I have almost 3 . I would love to try again for another, but not sure if my husband is ready for that or not. I am getting old so we would have to decide pretty quickly after this one comes along.

 

We wanted 2; now there's 3! If we were jillionaires, I'd want to try for a boy, but as it stands we're done! Took care of *that* during the CS!

 

We are very happy with the 5 we have

 

Just these 2 - i have an appt for a consultation in Feb about getting my tubes tied. I love the kids but I have as much as I can handle *lol*
