Ian and Grayson are now 19 mos and we are still going through at least 10 diapers a day. It seems like a lot to me. Most days they have at least two poopy diapers a day, and Ian pees A LOT! We were on a road trip over the weekend and I put an overnight (Huggies) diaper on him. We stopped after 3 1/2 hrs and he was soaked clear through! We are currently using size 4's and wondered if going up a size would hold more?? I just don't want to have leaks around the legs.
    Thanks for reading...and responding. ;)

My kids just turned 1 two weeks ago. My DS weighs 24 1/2 lbs. and my DD (who is bit, okay a lot chunkie around her tummy) weighs 26 1/2 lbs. We have been in #5 diapers (pampers baby dry and overnight Huggies) for about 2 months. My DS could probably wear #4's but we did have some leeks, and my DD hasn't fit in #4 for soem time. We do go through at least 10 diapers a day as well. For overnights they have something called diaper liners, which basically look like maxipads without the wings, and that helps absord too. Good luck!

We moved to fives at 18 months. The girls go thru 4-6 regular diapers a day and 1 overnight diaper a night

Mine are 17m and in a size 6 and have been for about 2m now. We use about 10/12 diapers a day, about 6 a piece. Try going up a size, at night mine wear an overnight diaper with a maxi pad inside and another diaper overtop, now they wake with no mess

I go through maybe 6 diapers a day each, not counting overnights. We have been on size 4's forever, but I did bump up to size 5 for the Huggies Overnights. If he is leaking, try moving up a size.

My boys never made it to size 5, but when they were 19 months old they probably went through 6-8 per day.

None of my kids ever used size 5!

I had problems with leaking overnight with Robert until we went from bottles to sippies. He does not drink as much from a sippy as his bottle. Just a thought....is he drinking more than needed?

Mine are only in 5's because I like to make the diapers good and tight around the waist

Ditto except we usually only do 4-5 diapers each per day plus the overnight one. Some days we only do 3 diapers during the day as they are really starting to do long stretches of holding it. We are in size 4 for the daytime and we bumped up to size 5 for the overnights just to get a little extra protection.

My twins will be 19 months on June 1st. We go through 6-7 diapers per baby a day. So 12-14 total. Mikayla is a little thing, she just got into size 4...sometimes I think she should still be in 3s as she is about 20 lbs. Michael is in a size 4. He is 24.5 lbs.

We haven't gotten to 5's yet, and I don't think we will! We've been in 4's forever, and then went straight to pull-ups. Brooke is almost potty trained, and wears underwear during the day, pullups and nap and bedtime. There are times when she will bring me a diaper and ask for it to be put on and say "baby." But I think we are almost done with 4's. They weigh 26 lbs.

Wow I must be the oddball when it comes to diapers! Our have been in size 5 since 9 months old because the size 4's were leaking and they were getting tight around the chunky-leg baby. We haven't had any issues with the size 5's. We use Pampers though, and I've heard they run a little smaller than Huggies. My boys are big so I think that has more to do with diaper size than age - They are in the 95-100% for height and 24.5 and 22.5 pounds at 10.5 months.

We change diapers every 2-2.5 hours, unless there is a poopy diaper, then we change them right away.

Amy is in 3's (since 6 months) and Sarah in 4's (since 8 months). We use Huggies. They were 60% for size at 6-9 months, but only 15-25% at 1 yr.

For some reason we've been very lucky and have had almost no leakers or blowouts. We change diapers first thing in the a.m., mid-morning, just before nap, right after nap, and bedtime -- so that's 5 per child, plus an occasional extra if they have an unscheduled poop. :D

We are still in size 4s and my kiddos are both 50th percentile for weight. They wear them at night, too. We also use 5-6 a day including the night diaper.

We are in size 4's. DD could be in a 3 but the 4 is okay on her, too. I think the 5's may be in DS' future in a few months.
We go through at least 6 diapers a baby a day plus an additional one before bed.

We moved to 4's at 16 months and are still in them. The girls go through about 6 diapers each per day.

Funny . . . we are still in size 3 at 27 months . . . I think we're at or just above the listed weight for them, but they still work fine. Since you get more in a box for the same price, we'll stick with them. We do use size 4 at night though.
