how many contractions do you usually have re: NST

    i had my first NST today which the babies failed. in 40min i had 9 contractions. 6 small bhc and 3 that were actually uncomfortable. I'm 32wks.....how many contractions are you all getting? they gave me a handout on preterm labor and what to look for.

    I get them ALL THE TIME! I dont start my NST's for a bit, but Id say 5-10 every hour... maybe 2 of them are ... 'bad'
    All my previous babies were full term singletons so my doc isnt worried, but I get them a whole lot more than Id like.

    I haven't started NST's yet. Will be in the next few weeks. But I get 4-6 "ouch" inducing contractions an hour with some smaller relatively painless contractions in between. We do cervical checks via ultrasound weekly and my cervix still looks decent so we're not too concerned yet.

    I get them all the time too. But I'm not even having NST's done.... UGH I just dont like my dr!
