do you own. I'm just curious. I had this *great* notion that I had how many bottles I needed all figured out. NOT [IMG] I figured 8 bottles a day times 2 girls made 16 bottles. So I got 21. Then all I did was wash bottles all day long. So now I have 36 [IMG] So how many bottles do you own?

Can someone link this to Parents forum too???

    TIA

I only had 2 4 oz bottles in the beginning since the NICU sent home so many extras. Now I have 9 Dr. Browns, 4 Avents, and 2 Podees. I only wash bottles once a day in the dishwasher.

At 7 months we are currently using 5 8oz Evenflos, 3 8oz Healthflows (they don't make them anymore), and 4 8oz Parents Choice bottles. We make 5 a day per child.

Hey there ![IMG] I think I started out with around 15 4 oz bottles. Now we use only the 9 oz cheapo gerber bottles. We started with 11. Quickly lost several, replaced some, and now we have 9-10 (depending on how many are under the couch [IMG] ) I usually wash them once a day and then they go in the dishwasher at night.

Hope all is well with your little ones...wow - 4 weeks old! [IMG][IMG]

If I had it to do all over again I wouldn't buy the 4 oz bottles. I bought a ton of them so I wouldn't have to wash them a lot then I realized they weren't big enough. If I had known then, what I know now, I would have bought 12 of the bigger bottles.

We didn't use our 4 oz bottles very long; quickly outgrew them, so I don't really remember how many we had. Only a few.

When we were using Dr Brown's, at one point I think I had around 30 bottles. It got ridiculous. Bottles all over, felt like. But, those Dr Brown's are hard to wash by hand so I bought a bunch so I could go thru the day & run the dishwasher at the end.

Now, we use Avent bottles and I have a few spares under the cupboard (we have 6 total) but usually I just keep the 2 out. I wash them by hand during the day & run them in the dishwasher at night to get really good & clean.

I'll admit it....I'm the one with 40+ 8 oz bottles. LOL

I used to make formula 2 days worth at a time, and I used to have enough bottles to make to have a full batch in the fridge, and have a full batch washing. [IMG]

We tried several different bottles, but in the beginning the girls likes the cheep-o gerber 9 oz ones best, and they had the X cut nipples which I had to use for Brooke who drank Enfamil AR. After about 6 months, Brookes reflux got better, and we could switch her to regular enfamil. After that we used playtex bottles. I had about 12 of those. [IMG]

I only had about 12 or so 4 oz bottles. We didn't use them very much though.

I never had 4 oz. bottles. I now only have 6 8 oz. bottles. I can't stand to see dirty bottles in the sink, so I always wash them right away. I never needed more than 6.
