I know this has been asked before, but I forget the answer, how many bottles are your babies drinking each day. We just upped both DS's and DD's ounces and I've been thinking that they should drop a bottle, but I'm not sure where. Currently DS drinks 5.5 bottles (6-7 ounces) and DD drinks 6.5 bottles (5-6 ounces). They eat roughly at 8, 10:30, 1:30, 4, 6:30, 1/2 a bottle at 10:30, and DD eats at 4 a.m. (sometimes only 1/2 a bottle). I just want to be sure that I am not overfeeding them, but DS especially seems to suck down every last drop and sometimes looks around for more.

We were down to 4 bottles at that time. 8-12-4 and 8. We are still there at 6 months. DS had 8oz. ones and DD 7oz. That has not really changed since 2 months.

We were feeding six bottles a day at 3 months and didn't drop to five bottles until about six months when they stopped waking up at night to eat. I think they were drinking about 25 ounces. Now at eight months old, they still drink five bottles a day (I really wish I could get them to just four bottles a day!) and have about 28 - 30 ounces. I don't know if this is a medical fact, but I've been told by our pediatrician and seen it written in multiple places that you really can't overfeed a small baby. If your babies are hungry, then they need to eat!

My DD eats 4 ounces every two hours. She usually eats at 7am, 9am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm, 5pm, and then 5am. So she pretty much is eating 28 ounces per day. I dont know how much DS eats b/c he is breastfed but he does eat every two hours as well. I have tried to get DD to eat more at every feeding and possibly go longer between feedings but she won't do it.

My boys eat 5 times per day sometimes 6 and they usually take 6 ounces at each feeding. There schedule is roughly 8, 11, 2, 5, 8 and sometimes they need a bottle at 5:00 a.m., but I am trying my hardest to cut that one out completely.

    we're at 5 bottles (sometimes 4 ) -- 7oz a piece - and they finish them all dry. We eat at 7am, 11am, 3pm, 6:30pm, (and about 4 days a week) between 3-4am.

    So between 28-35oz a day.

We are eating about 4-5 bottles a day. DS will take 6 bottles every once in awhile if he get's up in the middle of the night (this morning he was up at 3 am) but that's not always. Saturday night they ate at 9 and didn't get up till 8:30 (that's 11.5 hours of solid sleep...wow). Anyway, every baby is different. Dd is still only drinking 4 ounces at every feeding. That's not a lot but it's better than only 3 ounces at this age.
