    Hi Everyone!
HELP! My babies are 5 months old, eating rice cereal and stage one's 2x a day and they aren't STTN yet. WAH! How many bottles a day (i.e. from 6am to 6pm, not including nights) should 5 month old babies be getting (including the rice cereal)? I'm just not sure if they are getting enough during the day. Thanks!

Mine were (and still are) taking 5 bottles a day. They vary from 5-7 oz. for each bottle. We're on two solids meals a day now in addition to the 5 bottles.

6 bottles, I make each one 6oz and sometimes they drink 5, sometimes all 6, with two meals of solids a day.

My Boys eat 5-6, 8oz Bottles a day in addition to solids. I was told by my ped that at 6 months they still need the same amount of formula or bm while eating solids to ensure they are getting all the proper nutrients

At 5 months old we were on 6 bottles a day and solids one time a day in the evening. They werent STTN at that age either and got another bottle at night. How many times are they getting up at night?

We've been on 4 for a while now... but they still often have one at night... Usually 6oz bottles.

We were doing 5 bottles a day total, didn't start solids until they were 6 months though & at that time we started with just one solids meal per day ~
    Good luck with the sleeping!

At that age, we were doing 5 6 1/2 ounce bottles per day (they usually ate at least 5 and finished most of them) and one solids meal. A couple of weeks ago we added a second solids meal and dropped to 4 8 1/2 ounce bottles (not a decrease in formula volume--just a different schedule) with mixed results (they do great with that schedule at home, not as great at school).

Boy, my trio are piglets! We do 5 bottles a day. This is how it goes...

    5am ~ 4.5 oz bottle EBM
9am ~ 8-9 oz bottle EBM, Ian BFs
1pm ~ 9-11 oz bottle EBM, Ian BFs
5pm ~ 6 oz bottle EBM, Ian BFs, veggie
    7pm ~ 8-9 oz bottle formula, bedtime

Our trio has been sleeping through since 12 wks old. At the time, we were on a 3 hr feeding schedule so they were getting a bottle at 5, 8, 11, 2, 5, & 8 for a total of 6 bottles.

Wow mine only take 4 and the last one is a struggle.
    We do 7-8 ounces at
    7:30 with cereal after
    11:30
    3:30 with stage 1 solids
and somewhere between 6:30 and 7:30 we struggle to get them to get some in before they go to bed.
