How many bathing suits between your same gender 2 year old twins?

My girls will be spending a lot of time in their suits this summer, between the lake/beach access we have and their backyard kiddie pool. I have a total of 8 suits so far, I'm just wondering if that is overkill or not enough.

If your 2 year olds spend lots of time swimming/playing at the beach, how many suits do you have?

That sounds about right my boys had 3 sets last year and we were fine, they will have 4 this year too because they are inbetween the 2T's from last year and 3T this year. We went swimming over MIL's about twice a week, had a small pool in our yard and went on vaca with my parents for a week.

I've got 3 for each of them.. We have to leave one for each of them at day care, which leaves me with 2 for each of them at home..

I haven't gotten any yet for this year...but last year they each had 4. Some were birthday presents. But either way, we also have a pool around the corner, beaches everywhere and went away. Same plans this year!

    Sounds good!

I can't tell if your girls are ID or not. But, with my ID girls, I never dress them in the same bathing suit when we are around water/ at the beach. I never want to accidently look at the same girl twice (thinking that one was the other). They look a lot more alike when their hair is wet. You can never be too careful around water. JMO! Have fun!

I have 2 each so far. I have a rash guard suit, better for more coverage at the beach, and a regular one piece for the pool. I would like to get one more one piece so they have a backup in case they mess in the one they have.

I think 4 each sounds like plenty.

I think that sounds good! Our boys are different sizes. Every year between gifts and what I buy for them, they have about 5-6 bathing suits. They get LOTS of use since they practically live in them during the warm weather.

We swim just about everyday in the summer. Our next door neighbor and a couple other close friends have inground pools and we have a membership at a public pool. We go to our nearby family lake house almost every summer weekend where there also is a pool, boat and jetski. Throw in our annual summer trip to the beach for a week and they really make use of them! I find some great deals on suits especially mid-season.

We live in FL so I have 3 suits a piece for all 3 of my kids. I am on the hunt for the rash guard shirts now. Its addictive!!

We only have one each, but we rarely go swimming -- maybe to the pool every week or two in the summer. So there's plenty of time to wash suits in between uses.

Between the 2 of them , we had 5 last year (3 hand me downs and 2 bought) and it was plenty. They wore them interchangablly since they are the same size.

This year we will have 3 or 4 ( we bought 2 and have one that still fits my skinny minnie from last year and have a hand me down). Only occasionally do we need them 2 days in a row...and in that case I can lay them in the sun to dry faster.

Sounds like plenty- unless you have to leave some at other places (babysitters, camp, daycare, etc).

Swimsuits are just regular clothes here on the Gulf Coast. You see more people in the grocery store with a swimsuit on than regular clothes.
