I breastfed for a little while, but I heard a study recently that it doesn't matter if you bf or not, you're boobs will never be the same. My doctor told me that b/c your ribcage expands during pregnancy, it takes a while for them to go back and your "width" to shrink. I would buy 1 or 2 new bras to stay comfy.

I am one of those small, "nearly B" people! My girls are two weeks old today, and my boobs that were enormous only last week are now back to normal. I am wearing my pre-pregnancy bras already. After BF my other girls for over a year each, they also went down to size within weeks. (And wound up a bit more lifeless each time!)

Shrink or sag that was the question. My body chose to SAG. lol
They were massive for about 1 month or so after I had the twins. Then they dropped to my knees. lol

I think it took about a month. I nursed and pumped for two or three weeks and then stopped. I was an A cup before babies, turned to D when I was nursing, then they deflated back to a sagging A. I did nurse my son though, so maybe that is why they look so deflated.

    I was a 36 B before I got pregnant...within the first 8 weeks of pregnancy, I was buying a 38D! I went up another size, to a 40D around 25 weeks and stayed there.

I didn't bf or pump this time around, my boobs got even bigger when my milk came in. The only "new" bra I bought at that point was an XL tight sports bra. I wore this around the clock until engorgement stopped. I probably wore it for a good 3 weeks post partum. After the engorgement was gone and most of the leaking, i went back into the 38D bras. They are a tad bit big on me, but I'm not buying new ones since I have 40 lbs. to lose! But, after I lose that weight, I will be back in a B cup...ugh!!! And, they will be touching my belly button.

Even though I've been done BF/pumping for 2 years, I don't think mine have gone back down all the way. They are still a bit bigger than before I got pregnant with the twins.
