how long does it take to feed a bottle at 2 months?

It doesn't take my DD long at all to eat but DS takes forever. Sometimes it can take between 30-45 mins for one bottle, and then often he spits up. We see the pedi on Sat so I'll ask but I wanted to know what you ladies thought this could be and how long it takes your kiddos

Well mine were just coming home from the NICU at 2 months, but it would take them around 30 min. each to eat at that age. That is why I had to stop BF and start pumping because it was taking them 2 hours to BF. If your DS is spitting up a lot I would mention it to the pedi. it could be reflux. Both of mine have reflux and spit up after every feeding. Don't worry he will become a more efficient eater.

 

Ours are 2 months old, but born 7 weeks early. On a good feed, when they are really hungry it takes them 20 - 30 min, and when they are not that hungry 30 - 45 min.

 

FOREVER!!!! I would say it took us about 30-40 minutes. THere was nothing better than finally being able to use a fast nipple.

Same here as well.

 

Mine were also 7 weeks early and it takes them about 20 minutes and are eating 3-4 oz. It is getting better and faster.
