I just had twins. I find myself saying, "I just had twins" but they are 7 months now. This week I started an excercise class at the rec center and I was talking with a lady telling her how I have not excercised in so long and then told her, "I just had twins". I followed up by telling her, "well not just. it was actually 7 months ago". Do you ever say, "just" when in fact it has been many months??

Sometimes I have! I even sometimes mess up and talk about myself as though I were still preggers with the twins. Funny moms we are! lol [IMG]

[IMG] I was just thinking about this...i still say I just had twins...I get a lot of looks because I still look prego and have no idea what else to say other than using the twins as my excuse [IMG]

The babies will be 21 and that will still be my excuse. Hey, its true, "just" is a matter of mindset!!

I give it a year and then I need to start dealing with my own obesity [IMG]

Given the shock of having twins, I think saying 'I just had twins' pretty accurate. After all, it was only yesterday when I was standing in the waiting room, with my water leaking out trying to figure out where the heck to sit. (The idiot at the front sent me to the waiting room with specific instructions to sit. I did tell him my water broke, but he didn't believe me.)

I've caught myself saying "Well when they were babies....." when talking about something they did last month or when they were younger. Their only 5 months.

I just recently stopped saying it and mine are almost a year old. Some times I still say it though.
