How long did your lochia last?

Hi ladies! Just a quick question...

How long did your bleeding after delivery last? I had a vaginal delivery 18 days ago. I honestly can't remember how long it lasted with my dd, but have heard it can last longer with twins. THANKS!

 

I had a c-section on Feb 28th, and I stopped bleeding at about 2 weeks. I still have some spotting, but it is hardly anything at all.

I had a vaginal delivery with my son 2 years ago, and I bled for 6 weeks straight.

 

I had a c-section too and it was 4 weeks and then spotting....

 

I had less bleeding after the twins than any of my other kids, only about 3 weeks. I had up to 8 weeks with the others.

 

FOREVER!! I can't remember how long I bled with my daughter, but this time it was almost 7 weeks. and just when I thought it had gone, BANG...another week and a half. It just felt like sooooo long.

I couldn't believe how long it lasted. Vaginal delivery and I bled 40 days and about 10 more very light flow.

 

With the twins it was about 12 weeks and with my singleton about 7.

 

I spotted/bled off & on for 8 weeks with my first (vaginal), but only 1-2 weeks with the twins (one each way)

 

It seemed like forever and ever but in reality I had about two weeks of it than a break for a week than it started again for about three to 4 weeks. Than I had a week break than I got my aunt flow so for me I guess it was forever.

 

Mine was kind of weird. It was heavy for a couple of weeks, got lighter, then got heavier for another week, then got lighter again. It finally stopped after about 4 weeks. I just threw away the remaining overnight maxi's last weekend while cleaning out the hall closet. I DON'T miss those!

 

Seven weeks. I had one vaginal and one C-section.
