Ivy hasn't peed for over 8 hours. She's not uncomfortable and is acting fine, but is this normal? Could something be wrong?

Is/Was she drinking? My DS can hold it for awhile, but not if there are water cups around :)

Yes, she's been drinking - not a ton, but some.

my dd Amelia can hold it for 12 hours easily. She amazes me. And yes, she is drinking water and eating etc. She just has a super bladder and never had 1 accident.
I do try to get her to go more often than every 12 hours as I think that is WAY too long to hold it.

Piper pees twice a day, and she regularly holds it for 8 hours or more. I've tried everything I can think of to get her to pee more, but she must have a bladder of steel. She drinks the same amount as her sister, but just never seems to need to go to the bathroom. So... I wouldn't worry that much about Ivy unless something else seems wrong.

Lauren goes every 2-2.5 hours but can hold it for longer. Emma can go hourssss and hourssss and hourssss. She will go after dinner (between 6-6:30) and not go again until sometime after breakfast (8-8:30). The other day I was so busy and forgot to tell her to go and it was almost 11 before she went!! :woah: I don't like her to go that long obviously but I was just amazed that she hadn't. During the day I make sure she goes before or after each meal.

OK, that's good to know! Wow, I had no idea this was so common.

Interesting to see that it's all girls - my mom has a theory about girls being able to hold it longer than boys.

Amy does that sometimes -- she'll pee when we leave the house on Saturday morning (at 8:45) and then not again until after lunch or later. As long as Ivy is acting normal, I wouldn't worry, though I might start pushing fluids. ;)

Emilie goes anytime she feel she needs to the slightest bit. Trevor, on the other hand, will go up to 6 hours during the day. If I realize it's been that long, I will tell him to go. I don't like him to hold it that long.
