My girls will be 3 months old on the 3rd of March. I never sent birth announcements because....you know- It gets busy when you have twins. A friend suggested that I still send an announcement out.

I sort of feel that it is too late and my next opportunity to send a picture out is their 1st birthday.

    Any thoughts?

My vote is send them. I think people will understand! :) My twins were born in January and we did not send them out until April.

I would say 30 after they are born, but you do what you want.

You can also just send a recent picture with a little letter saying they are three months blah blah blah

I would definitely send them!! I am prompt with everything usually, and mine went out 2.5 months later because SIL made them.

Oh absolutely send them! If you don't get to it soon send out a card with their pics and their statsm, that is what I did when they turned 1. I will do that with Molly as well since I didn't have time to do birth announcements.

I think a year is too late... by then you just send their birthday announcement! I think mine went out around 3 - 4 months as well.

Send it out. Another choice would be a holiday card. I have gotten christmas and valentine ones that were really birth anouncments. You could do a St Pat day, Easter instead if you are concerned.

I just ordered mine last week, and I'm just including one in each thank you card I send for the gifts we've received.

I sent ours out around 3+ months. The girls weren't home until 3 weeks and then back in the hospital a few weeks later for a couple weeks. I think better late than never. Send them!

I never got around to sending out announcements, but I did have postcards made with their picture that I sent out as thank you notes. Cheaper on the postage too! I'd say send them!!
