How in the World!

Ok, I guess this will be my offical whine. It seems as though everyone I know is pg. We are all do within a week of each other. Everyone has teased that obviously I will be the one to go first because I'm having two, etc.. NOT! Two friends have now had their one baby pregnancies before me. They are delivering at almost 37 weeks and having babies over 7lbs. I am almost 36 weeks and my babies are weighing around 6lbs. I am so happy for them yet at the same time I want it to be my turn! Ok, I guess that is my pity party. Now i'm really going to be getting the comments "You haven't had those babies yet?!"

Just think how your big old twins are going to show up their babies!! And great for you for carrying this long!! Hold out a little longer and your kids are going to do awesome!!

 

Yeah but they can't top what you are about to go through. While they are only having ONE you are having two, which to me is way more exciting

Watch when you go on an outing with your babies and your friend, you will the one who gets the attention from people. :winking0009:

Has it been difficult having friends who are pregnant with a singleton? It's probably just my sensitive-self over-reacting, but I find that my friend (a few weeks behind me) just doesn't get it sometimes...I look huge compared to her, I have less energy than her, etc.
And then there was the comment "Well, J Lo looks great a month after giving birth to her babies...it won't be hard for you to get back into shape!" Excuse me?!?! I wanted to die...

Anyways, as pp have said, you will certainly get more attention in the end Good luck in these last few weeks...you're bound to have strong, healthy babies by holding out!!

 

Count your blessings that they are staying in longer.

 

You are carrying over 12 lbs of baby to their 7 lbs. Just think, the longer they're in, this less chance of NICU time. You're so lucky you've made it this far.

 

.just remember you get two for the price of one.... lol

:lol: i like that you "won" ---i can relate; Im pg too week behind SIL and she is still up and around doing everything and every pg woman i know is still able to be active-i think that gets me more because i have so much to do!

LOL! I guess you're going to have two nannies, a personal trainer, and a cook.
