How good is your Mommy Intuition?

Let me just tell you... When the babies were a few weeks old. I knew something was up and it took a few weeks for the Dr's (after I switched... <_< ) to find out that my 2 month olds had Pneumonia.. They kept telling me it was a virus and I just didnt buy it... I must have spent like $500 (dam co-pays..) in a few weeks..

This morning... I knew something was up.. I said to my DH.. I think they have ear infections...

....And... What do they have???? DS has a full blown ear infection.. and DD has the beginning stages of one. They both have fevers of 101 now. They are so miserable. :cray:

I feel so bad...

Well anyhow.. How good is your mommy intuition?

Has anyone ever had B/G twins who get the same things at the same times in the opposite side? Sounds like ID mirror image twins.. They are even getting teeth a few days apart.. One gets a left the other gets a right.. WEIRD!!!

 

I hope they feel better soon Ashley! I am usually the opposite...if I don't take them it usually ends up being something terrible! <_< So, I usually err on the side of caution!

 

I am pretty good with mommy intuition, but I rarely take them to the doctor. If I do, it has to be something BAD.

My B/G twins always did things at the same time, even poop. It was weird... but they are the same age, do the same things, eat the same things, etc, so it makes sense.

I say my mommy intuition is pretty good. When I thought they were sick, I was dead on. Mine do things pretty close together, usually within a couple of weeks. When I was pg, they mirrored each other's pulse, the tech said...weird :huh: .

 

Mine is not so good as far as illness goes. There have been a few times when I thought they were sick but they were not. They've actually never needed real medicine so every time I've taken them to the doctor other than check-ups has sort of been a waste.

 

too bad you couldn't get a refund for misdiagnosis !!

 

:hug99: I hope they feel better soon. My mommy instincts for being sick aren't so good, but DH's 'mommy instincts' for illness are. He always knows when they are sick.
