now i know that there is a "Show Us Your Belllies" thread for the month of April but this is sort of different.
having been the only twin pregnancy around town, family, friends, we are all wondering how big do i look right now as compared to a person showing the same way.

so here's the pic.....how far along would you say i was with a singleton pregnancy?
Belly Pic - How far along is she with singleton?

thanks, just trying to gauge how much farther along i am than singleton pregnancies. i have the first cevical check in a few weeks so that will be most accurate.

but in the meantime i was just curious to see what everyone thought.

    thanks ladies... :)

I would say at least 25-28 weeks, but I measured small with my singleton.

Im pretty sure I looked about like that around week 22 - 24 with my singleton. THIS time around tho, I hit that mark at about week 14! :pardon:

    You look great!

thanks guys for all those "looking good" comments. they really brighten the spirits and make the beached whale feeling go away for a bit :D

and 26-28 weeks or 22-24 weeks that would seem about right. i don't think i am measuring larger than a singleton by much keeping in mind that this is my first pregnancy and all so things tend not to show as fast.

so if i'm 20 weeks looking at least 24 weeks, but 25 weeks i should at least look 30 weeks right?

i'm trying to judge how big/little i will be for our baby shower that we are having 5/17 and 5/24. i'll be 25 weeks for the first and 26 weeks for the second.

basically i just want to look nice a pregant for these shwoers.....have no doubts that i'm not just fat but that i am very pregnant since people like pregnant bellies and rubbing them at showers. i don't want to disapoint. :D

Yeah, I was thinking about 24 weeks. My ob told me that twin pregnancies normally experience thnigs about about 4-6 weeks earlier than singleton...so maybe that might help.

There are women who don't show much, including a twin pregnancy. You do look great! I had extra fluff already when I got pregnant, so my size was always off no matter if it was one or two.

I was gonna guess around 22-24 weeks also. I have seen some people on here who never got too big, I don't know where those babies hide but when I see some bellies I am just amazed they are able to carry so small. Lucky people!! I measured way bigger the whole time (at 27 weeks I was measuring 39 weeks!). Your babies may have a growth spurt and you may really pop out or you may be one of the lucky ones and not get too huge!!

I´ve never had a singleton pregnancy myself but comparing to the women I see around here (Im in Spain), I´d say around 7-8 months along. Im always surprised at how small Spanish women are when they say how far along they are (the health system is really strict with weight gain here and you get a real shouting at if you gain, what they consider, too much! I took no notice and gained 55lbs! Haha!). Anyway, I digress. You look fabulous so congrats! :D

I'm not sure a cervical check will tel you anything but has your doc measured you yet? That is the real determination of how many "weeks" you are meausring. I actually have a friend who gave birth to a 40+ week term baby that was over 8 pounds and you could barely tell she was pregnant right before she had her. She looked to be less pregnant than you do now.

On the other hand, I have always carried a bit bigger and had people ask me all the time if it was wins when it was just my singletons. Everyone's body is different. It also depends on if it's your first pregnancy or your 4th. Usually show faster and bigger with each consecutive pregnancy.

No matter all of that, you look great!

thanks ladies....when you say "you look great" is it meaning that you can't really tell where all the weight is going and appears to be all belly and i'm not really a beached whale like i think i am?

and no i've never been measured. my ob told me (not the peri she didn't measure me either) that it was pointless to measure a multiples woman because it will never be accurate. i will always be bigger than what i should be so she just doesn't do it. that is why i was asking. having never been pregnant before with a singleton OR a multiples i was curious as to how big i actually look. i mean for DH and i my body change is rather dramatic since i went from flat tummy to major baby belly.

thanks for all of the replies! :D

First of, you look great, way to go!

I think I was around 24 weeks when I was pg with Claudia when I reach that point. This time around I a 13 weeks and my tummy already looks this way.
