How early will you feel the babies move?

Hi, I am new to this. I am 8weeks and 1 day pregnant with twins. I am due July 31,2007. I have had 2 transvaginal ultrasound and saw the heartbeats. My next apt. is Jan 4th. My question is how soon will you feel the babies move. I know they say you feel twins sooner than singletons. I have 2 boys and I did not feel them until I was 4 months along. I really think I feel one of the babies already. I feel a little thump the left under my belly button. It has happened about 7 or 8 times already. Thanks for your help.

Welcome to TS & congrats on your pregnancy. Most likely you won't feel them till the 18-20 week mark.

 

i am due July 28th! I'm at 9 weeks now and i can feel the fluttering at time and i can't cross my legs anymore--lol. I can't wear any of my regular clothes anymore and i have just given in to the fact that i have to start wearing maternity early. It's more comfortable anyways! Congratulations on your new additions! mine are side by side and i can sometimes put my hand under my belly button and feel their heart beats. i have to sit really really still for this tho. it is really neat.

Congrats on your twins! I felt a few flutters at around 14-15 only when I drank certain things. I didn't feel consistent movement until around 16-17 weeks.

I felt mine at 11 weeks and a few days! which was MUCH sooner than any of my singletons!!

I felt them move for the first time at 14 weeks after a violent sneeze. It started getting more powerful around 19 or 20 weeks...now they make me jump sometimes!

 

Congratulations on your pregnancy and welcome to TS! I felt the girls at 16 weeks. It was my first pregnancy. I felt my singleton that I am pregnant with now at 14 weeks 6 days.

I felt my girls at 13weeks. Now i can even tell who is kicking me and they are avid gymnasts as they do their flips which give me the same sensation as when you go over a hill with your car.

 

Welcome! I didn't feel anythign until 20 weeks but I know it can be earlier.

 

HI Everyone...congratulations on your pregnancies.
I am pregnant with twins, too. It's still shocking to hear myself say or write that! Anyway, I am 8 weeks and due Aug. 4th. I have a 17 month old boy. I can relate to what some of you are saying. I TOTALLY feel something moving around. Maybe it's my uterus, but I feel something. It is exactly what I felt when I felt my son moving. Hmmmm.....
