My twins turned 3 in July and are so excited about teh new babies. DS tells me several times a day that he just loves his baby sisters so much. He gives my belly hugs and kisses often. DD asks questions about what they will do, eat, wear, how big they are now everyday. THey want to feel my belly for kicks and says it is when they are trying to crawl. I love it. Anyone else have cute stories about the anticipation of new babies.

My boys just turned 3 and they BEG me to have "two" more babies. A boy and a girl. I NEVER will but if it makes you feel any better (lol) they REALLY want a few more to "play" with!!

    Your kids will ADORE them!

It will be wonderful! You've got a GREAT age gap there, totally manageable!

My little guys just turned two so I'm not quite sure they get the whole concept of what's going on but they will come up to me and want me to pull up my shirt while saying "sister" and than kiss my tummy. Super cute and melts my heart! Crossing my finger they still feel that way about her when she comes!!!

Mine were only 18 months when Hannah was born so the whole pregnancy they had no idea. Now that she is here they are very gentle and helping with her...when they are paying attention...other times like the other night we were getting them ready for bed and Jack comes running in naked after bath and she was laying on the floor and he did a naked somersault almost right onto her!! I caught his hiney before he could get to her but for the most part they love her:)

You should totally have that baby girl 1 day early. Then your boys will share my birthday and baby girl will share Jack and JT's!:) LOL!

That's so neat! I'm really hoping she comes a little early but I'm not holding my breath! I'm sure she'll be stubborn and hold out till the 6th!

Coming a bit late to this thread ...

My girls are a bit older and I've been loving the questions they ask me - as well as the belly hugs. I recently had this conversation with Tal:
"Is she wearing anything in there?"
    "No"
    "What, not even a diaper?"
    "No"
"So she's going pee pee in you?"
    "Um yup"
    "Eergh!"

I love how her brain works ...

We are new to this, I am 5weeks 5 days today and mytwins don't know yet (we are waiting until Christmas to tell family and friends and the girls will tell everyone! :hush: NOT!!!) They think that my back hurts and that is why I cannot carry them!! Once they realize they will be thrilled!

Thanks!!! I think they will be thrilled while the baby is still on the inside BUT... once the baby(ies) arrive, I think they will be EXTEMELY jealous! ESP Ava Grace. Addison will just take it in her own hands to change diapers etc... I won't be able to leave the baby(ies) for 2 seconds to use the bathroom or anything!
