[SIZE=12pt]Mikayla has been going potty for a long time, but when she sits on either the big potty or her little potty her urine sprays everywhere! How do we stop this? Does she need to put her legs more together? Is it the little potty we are using or is it how she sits on it? Does anyone have problems with girl spray?

Yes, I have this problem with Bea. It's mostly when on the little potty, but it also happened at a public bathroom when I put the little fold-up potty seat on the toilet. I'm lucky that I had taken her pants completely off, but she ended up with pee all in front of the toilet and on her socks. She was crying, she was so upset about it. I had to clean it up, as best I could, and then let someone know about the accident. It was a lot of pee!
I don't know if she's just not sitting right, or because she's a big girl, although Ainsley has really chubby thighs and doesn't seem to have this problem. But anyway, yes, we have this problem! It doesn't seem to happen if she sits on the big potty directly with no little kid seat.

[SIZE=12pt]Thanks for responding Kelly! Gosh I thought Mikayla was the only one and an oddity! We too have to take off her pants completely or else we get it all over. *sigh I wish I knew of a potty that could prevent this or figure out exactly what she is doing. Mikayla is skinny skinny minnie! So she doesn't have any chubbiness to make this happen.

Bridget, try having her sit farther back on the toilet seat. I've been having Bea use the big potty at home most of the time, and if she sits a little farther back, instead of right up at the front, we don't get the spray.

Also, if you have her lean forward just a tad it will probably point the stream down.

We're having the same problem with Sarah. She usually gets pee all over the inside of her legs, and DH thinks that might be partly why she doesn't want to sit on the potty. It doesn't happen when we hold her up on a big potty -- maybe because she's not really sitting down and therefore can't lean back?

We'll try having her lean forward more. I think it also might be happening because now that she can hold her pee for longer, it comes out more forcefully.
