I thought this would be a good thread to start. My girls just started laughing out loud and I do anything to keep them laughing. Elora laughed so hard yesterday that she puked, but kept on laughing.

I like to lay them on the floor and do push ups over them and kiss them every time I near the floor. I say "kiss, kiss, kiss" in a silly voice. They love it and I get some much needed exercise.

I also blow raspberries to them and make them kick thier legs.

    So what do you do?

I play this upbeat CD with kids songs and dance around like an idiot. They think it's hilarious. I'd be mortified if anyone else ever saw me.

I sing Old McDonald....and on the EIEIO part, do it exaggerated and squeaky, and I pause so they anticipate. They LOVE that. Who knows why?

I stand with my back to them, then spin to face them suddenly while making funny noises. They crack up and laugh these deep belly laughs that only a baby can make. It is hilarious! I love it! This can go on for 10 minutes and they still think it's funny. [IMG]

Any kind of funny noises make mine laugh! Like blowing raspberries, and doing the press up thing when kissing them. They laugh at each other when they talk to each other. They sit in the bath and laugh at each other. Jack laughed so hard today he got the hicups! Anything stupid sets my two off. x

I steer clear of any activities that will make my biceps any bigger, but mine started to really laugh this past weekend & it's hilarious! With my ds, just me laughing at him makes him laugh more. He also laughs when I throw my head back & fake laugh like Jim Carrey. He & my dd both laugh when I make them dance but I have to be careful with her or I'll wear her most recent bottle!

My girls like it when you take their feet and say "shoo, stinky feet". It's dumb but we get a chuckle everytime!! [IMG]

Douglas started cracking up about 2 weeks ago. He responds to blowing raspberries on his neck or cheeks, kisses all over his face, "phew, stinky feet" and just recently tickling his back or collarbone area. It's so endearing. I'm still trying with Sarah, nothing from her but smiles, but that's okay.

Kisses/rasberries on the belly make my two laugh. They love "where's the baby?" with the blanket/burp cloth. And recently they have come to love our old cat Pedro, they both squeal, bounce and reach for him. It is so cute hwne he rubs his head on their little outstreached hands!

I tickle them, blow raspberries on their tummy, play peekaboo, pop up from behind things, "fly" them around, swing them from side to side in my arms (gently), I talk to them in a really funny voice and make faces at them. Pretty much anything, they laugh a lot. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Our girls love 'pooh-pooh checks' - we bury our face in their belly and sniff real loud. Sometimes it's not so fun for us - peeyew - but we find out what is going on and they get to have fun. They also love when I growl and nuzzle into the side of their neck. I say 'uh-oh' and get a certain look, and they know what is coming. They squeal and tilt their head to the side to try to keep me from getting in there - doesn't work! [IMG]

    what a lovely thread!

peekaboo, being swung, pretending to drop them or to throw them away, raspberries to the belly, mummy doing silly walks/dances or stalking up on them in an exagerrated manner, nuzzling in their necks, mummy making silly noises ... they love laughing (and i love their laughter so much i've taped it for future ... )
