If you haven't had a period yet and are exclusively bf, with out taking a test, what would be signs of being pregnant.
I mean really. we have twins so of course we are tired. boobs sore well duh were nursing. no period, well haven't had one of those in about 1 1/2yrs. nauseated, well a little but i usually get those while having sinus problems (recovering from sinus infection).
So i dont want to cough up the money just to get a negative. (or it really be positive but its too early to test) and we certainty were not trying at all. we have sex like once a month. But i am just so flippin hot and light headed and nauseated. maybe its dehydration?

I'd buy the test. I was tired and sore boobs, but I was in the process of weaning.. My breasts were VERY sore. So sore that getting the twins out of the tub (they were 2) was VERY difficult.
    Good luck!

The dollar store sells pregnancy test........and they are only $1!!!!!

I highly recommend them (same as name brand, but they are generic).........my OB could not believe that the test showed a positive as early as it did (a few days before my missed period)............if you are not pregnant, you only "wasted" a buck.

I think you will have to buy the test. Sorry. This may be kinda gross, but it is all I have to offer. Sorry if anyone is offended. There are some signs as to whether ovulation is taking place. So, do you recall any cervical mucus before or after the time of intercourse? I think that while breastfeeding, women are usually drier (thus making intercourse sometimes less enjoyable). But if you have ovulated, there will be a lot of wetness (mucus.. clear). If you noticed anything, you may have a clue that ovulation took place and you have a good chance of being pregnant. But I would just get the test.

My sister got pregnant when her son was 6-8 weeks old, she hadn't gotten her period yet and was breastfeeding. She noticed a drop in her milk production. She wasn't able to continue feeding her little guy. I'll ask her what else she noticed.

I had to ask.......they kept them near the register (might have even been behind the register).....I don't remember, they walked to them and I followed and they handed them to me (I bought 2 just in case......LOL).

The doctor was impressed that the test worked on the day that I tested, because it was the first day that it could have shown a positive.

Nope didn't test. I think I have mastitis. Its wierd tho. I only have red streaks / dots at night time; not during the day on my left breast starting from the areaola then it goes outwards. but its weird, only hits at night.
