How do you handle baths?

Hi Everyone, I just found this site and I'm oh so happy! I had my twins on 1/11- boy and a girl and was wondering how everyone handles bathtime. What is the easiest way to bathe both? So far I've been bathing them in my bathroom sink, but they are getting too big. I tried one of those plastic tubs, but it feels awkward. Just trying to get ideas from everyone, thank you.

At that age, we used a plastic tub in the tub. Once they were able to sit in bumbos, we used those until they were able to sit on their own.

I used to do one at a time while DH got the 1st dry, etc I would bathe the 2nd. Now we do them togehter unless its just me then one plays in the floor while I bathe one then I swap them

Same thing, but we had a little tub for them to lay back in until they could sit up pretty well. After that, we kept them in the kitchen sink for the longest time. The other one would be in the bouncy seat, bumbo, or exersaucer, depending on age.

When the boys were smaller I would do one at a time in the baby bath on the bathroom counter. Now that they can sit on their own really well I just put them both in the bathtub with some toys and it's sooooooo much easier now.

I bathed them in the kitchen sink up until last week.

We used the plastic tub in the kitchen sink so the height was more comfortable for me. Our tub came with a little sling (that looked like of like a net) for when they were very small.

I also used a plastic tub for the first 5-6 months until i couldn't rinse their heads anymore because they reached the top of the tub! Then I bought some bath sponge things to lay them on, similar to this but it was just a foam sponge, in the shape of a teddy bear, that goes in the bathtub for them to lay on their backs on. Cost maybe $7.00 or so at target. I can't find it online.

Anyways we used the bath sponges until they could lay on their bellies really good, and started rolling, and then we just let them roll around in the tub until they could sit up by themselves :)

We use a plastic tub in the sink. It was awkward at first, until I started bathing them every night for their routine. Then it got easier because I got used to it.

I have a big kitchen sink, so I bathed them one at a time in there until they were old enough to sit up well, then I put them in the big tub with just a couple of inches of water.

Hey Tara! Welcome to TwinStuff!! Our twins have the same b-day!! I do the baby bath tub in the kitchen sink, one at a time. Dry, lotion, diaper, jammies then hand off to DH for last bottle for the night. I enjoy this one on one time with them. My DH is a SAHD and this gives me the opportunity to catch up on all the smiles I missed during the day.

I bathe them in a baby tub that has a mesh support in it. I set everything out and then bathe one and then the next. The one that is not getting bathed just hangs out on my bed on a towel with a diaper on. The tub we have is similar to this, but that shower part broke the second time we used it - ha ha:

I take both babies in the bathroom. One lays on floor on a couple of towels w/ toys. The other I undress, and have a baby inflatable tub in the big tub (looks like a rubber duckie). They are big enough to lay in it w/ head on edge, comfortably, since they don't sit well enough yet for big tub alone. Inflatable tub is perfect size so I don't worry about slipping, hitting heads, holding up the whole time. Once bath is over, dry that one, lotion, diaper, dress. Then, put on floor to play, and repeat w/ second twin. Hoping to do both at same time once they sit better.

I did the kitchen sink until they got too big and then I bathed them in the baby tub in the big tub until they could sit well.

Mine are 6 months old. I bathe them one at a time in a plastic baby tub inside our bathtub (they can't sit up on their own yet). The other one lays in her crib with the mobile on, or sits in her bouncy chair just outside the washroom. I must admit that I only started this daily morning routine about 1 month ago, though. Until then, I could only bathe them when a second person was around, because the one who was waiting would demand my attention, and then bathtime just felt stressed and rushed. I'm looking forward to just bringing them into the tub with me when they can sit up, and having nudie splash and play time together!
