How do you feed your babies?

Formula.

 

Pumped for the first four months, but now formula feed.

 

Breastfed

 

I pumped with for 5 months and supplemented with formula. Now they are on straight formula. I don't miss the pumping! I am disappointed that I was not able to give them bm longer.

Elouise totally nurses. Allison nurses half the time and gets expressed breastmilk the other half the time. We haven't had to do formula in more than three weeks!!!!

 

I almost strictly pumped for the first 3-4 months, but would still try to nurse them every once in a while...and now they have finally became wonderful nursers in the last few months! I feel so lucky and glad I kept with pumping. We have never had to supplement with formula- I really feel so lucky!

 

I pumped for 8 months and consistently made enough for one baby to have a bottle of breastmilk at each feeding. The other one had formula and then they'd switch at the next feeding.

Formula.

For the first 5 weeks, I did a combo of pumping, BF, and formula. They got about 1/2 breastmilk.

 

What I do is I pump for my babies. I luckily am able to get enough for both babies and the doctor has me fortify their milk with formula to help them gain weight(1 t. to 5 oz).

 

i'm trying for 6 BM feedings (all pumped) and 2 formula feeds (late night). I think I finally got my supply up so we can do that, we may even be able to go to 7 feedings - but we are currently having some "gas" issues and are trying to determine if it's my milk or the formula.

On occassion I will nurse them, maybe once a day, but usually not a full feeding.

Chloe is breast fed in the day and on formula for night feeds. Ashley is mostly formula fed with the occassional expressed breast milk (just dont seem to pump enough for her)
