How do you count calories without going full perfectionist?

    I’ve tried counting calories before. It always goes fine until I start going way too deep into it. What do I mean? I start counting calories in literally everything, even cucumbers and stuff like that. I can’t relax during dinner with friends or at a restaurant. Anything I can’t count and log stresses me out like crazy.

    Oh, I totally get that. I figured out that I just can’t count calories at all. I immediately go to that extreme where I start majorly restricting myself.

    Same here, I feel more comfortable just listening to how I feel, like fullness. And I look at portion sizes I can estimate by eye. I use an app, you can check unimeal reviews here, it gives me a meal plan I follow. There’s a calorie counter in the app too, and I used it a couple of times just to make sure I’m within my range. But I don’t want to count every day, because honestly, it’s just too much work.
