How do you clean your potty chairs?

Not really a potty training question, so I thought it would be okay here (if not - go ahead and move it up). I was just wondering what others do to keep the potty chairs clean?

Every time we pee, I dump in the toilet and rinse them out in the sink. Every time we poop, I dump it in the toilet and then wipe the screech marks out with a wipee.
If they've got something nasty on the removable squishy rings, then I wipe or wash them off, too. Then a couple times a day I take disinfecting wipes (Clorox type) and wipe them down.

Just wondering if this sounded sufficient? With my oldest, we trained right on the toilet so potty chairs are new to me. TIA!

 

I clean mine pretty much the same way, but it was a bad mess after I'm done with the preliminary cleaning I'll take it outside & let it soak in some bleach water.

 

:good: Sounds good to me...cause that's pretty much what I do! I do the big bleach cleaning thing every few days. But, it's the potty, and they don't play with it anymore since they use it for what it's for. So I think you are sufficient!

 

I rinse it and wipe it out with Clorox Anywhere Spray to disinfect a little.

 

For pee, I dump the pee, then just run some water into it from the tub, swish it around, and dump that in the toilet too.

For poop (not that we get much of that), I do the same thing, then follow up with a Clorox wipe.

I should also mention that our cleaning lady washes them every 2 weeks, presumably with something like Soft Scrub (though I don't actually know).
