Guess I am a little late with this one, but I am just wondering how you clean your kids hard plastic toys and what you clean them with. Thanks in advance!

Dishwasher and/or Clorox Anywhere Hard Surface spray. You could also just use a very weak bleach solution, which is what they use in restaurants to clean all surfaces that might come into contact with food, and is essentially what the Clorox is. One or two tablespoons in a gallon will do it, and you can rinse after if it makes you feel better.

I alternate these - make up a big container full of bleach water, throw in the toys and rinse every once in a while. I'll throw stuff in the dishwasher more regularly. They boys have only just begun to chew things, though, so this 'routine' is still new.

I pop all the hard toys in the dishwasher every couple days. Soft toys goes into the washing machine.

Dishwasher toy rack. But I don't wash them regularly... only if they get puked on or if another child is coming over (then both before and after).

Soft toys go in the washing machine.

Now the toys that are both hard and soft, I have no idea what to do with them! I'm thinking throw them out...

I soak them in hot soapy water if there are not "movable" parts etc. that will hold water / leak. If that's the case, I use Lysol antibacterial wipes or something comparable like that.

If they are hard and soft I will put them in the washing machine.

Same as pp. Hard toys go in the dishwasher or wiped down with Clorox. Soft toys go in the washing machine!

I use wipes. I am afraid to use clorox or lysol for fear the kids will get it in their mouths.

On the rare occasion my girls have been sick, I have put hard toys in hot soapy water and soft ones in washer/dryer.

I have also heard that the heat from a dryer will kill germs, or sticking things in the freezer.
