How do they react to discipline?

How do your twins differ in their personalities when they are in trouble?

Caleb is very sensitive. He wears his heart on his sleeve. When he gets in trouble he gets the saddest look on his face or if Connor gets in trouble you can really see that it upsets him.
Caleb is also the "tattle tale". The kid can't talk but he sure can let us know when Connor is doing something he shouldn't  He'll run up to us and point to where Connor is to show us!

Connor is STUBBORN. He pushes limits. Sometimes when I count he'll put his head down and wait for it - this is when I'm at #1!!!! When he's in trouble he also doesn't want you to see that it's fazed him. He tries so hard not to cry and struggles to keep this blank "I don't care" look on his face. It's unfortunate, but he's exactly like me when I was little!

Madison is my sensitive one. She'll pucker up and start bawling if you hurt her feelings. Over the weekend we were at my parents and she wanted to play with my nieces Sesame Street Uno game. I told her (very normal voice) that I didn't think we should play with it because I didn't want them to tear it up. She got soo upset, crying, etc. You'd have thought I'd taken away her best friend or something. My neice ended up sitting down and playing cards with them because she was just so pitiful.

Alina is almost just oblivious when I try to disipline her. She laughs, looks away, acts she's not really hearing me, whatever it takes to show she either doesn't care and that getting in trouble doesn't bother her. Every once in a while she'll react, but not often. The other night at dinner she was screaming (just to scream, no reason) and when she wouldn't stop, I turned her chair towards the wall. She didn't like that and started crying. I was shocked that it phased her at all. I'm sure next time it won't! :D That being said, I know she hears me because it usually only takes once or twice of putting her in time out for something for her to stop and go on to something else. That doesn't mean that she won't do it again tomorrow, but thats pretty normal for their age.

    Mmm....

Ella -- she is my "tomboy" and gets frustrated if we stop her from doing something -- she will usually "growl" or yell out, but very seldom cry. She tends to cry more if she gets a fright (if we yell out because she is climbing on something!). She is a tough little girl, but has a definite sensitive side. She seems to handle discipline well though and "understand" what she has done.

Zoe -- this is my "DRAMA queen" -- there is so much drama there, it is quite amazing! She cries a lot and she whines a lot! She will just burst into tears if you try to discipline her and cry and cry and cry. What I do now is send her up to her bedroom and tell her she can come down when she is done crying! Sounds terrible, I know...but it works for her and saves the rest of us from going crazy!! She will come down again about 10-15 minutes later, happy as a lark!!

Its always one thing or the other with twins!!
