How do I keep DD from ripping her diapers off?

Alright, I thought it was just a fleeting "cool" thing to do, but Sy keeps ripping her night time diaper off. It's too hot here to just put her in a onesie and then her PJs. Just a onesie would be too cold due to the airconditioning running all the time. She won't leave her blanket on unless she chonked out. She's 22 months old. Do they make bigger onesies? (And it's not like she isn't having accidents, cause she is! I'm going through sheet and mattress pad one after another)
Any stories/suggestions would be much appreicated.

I used duct tape. It worked for awhile!
Other ideas: Put the blanket on her backwards so she can't get to the zipper.
Or - I used to safety pin the blanket sleeper closed.

    Good luck!

We cut the feet out of blanket sleeps and wear them backwards. Worked great until they figured out that they could unzip each other. Fortunately, the girls have to be really bored to get to that point.

We also had to use tape on L & M's diapers! I used clear packaging tape though....I thought it might be a bit more inconspicuous!! LOL

We used duct tape with Emma, worked like a charm.

I just had to laugh at the cleverness of twins! Sorry  I'm sure mine will do this to me one day.

We too tape diapers that keep coming off! Also try a larger size diaper at night to keep her dry through the night.

Duct tape did not work for us.
When mine started taking off the diaper at night, we just switched to night time pull ups. We did not have a problem after that. They always kept them on.

I have trouble with the boys pulling diapers off day and night in fact one is standing with butt naked as I just looked around from the computer. I'll just turn the pamper around backward and put the tabs in the back - that way unless bubbie helps him he can't get to it.

I haven't even thought about trying pull ups.

What is working for us right now with Cody *knock on wood* is turning his PJ's inside out so that the zipper is on the inside. We have done this for nearly a month now and so far so good.

Thank you ladies! Duct tape did work. If she gets wise to that trick I'll have to try one of the other tatics given. It's pretty bad when you go in to check on them and find the discarded diaper by stepping in the squishy middle of it! Not a great sensation.

Hi, I use duct too! I have to wrap it around the boys so that it meets in the back because they still would try to work their little busy fingers under the tape. At night, I in the sleeper closed at the top by running a safety pin through the hole on the zipper and cover it up with the flap that snaps. Good Luck. It was so frustrating before I got this all figured out!
