    Hello,
I had my Dr. appt. this week. I am 35 wks and my ob decided to check me because I have had some pressure down there and some contractions, etc. Nothing super consistent but noticable. Well I am 2 cm dialated and 60% effaced at 35 weeks. Is this normal at this stage in the game for twins? These are not my first babies so I know that you can sit at 2cm for awhile. I guess I am just not familiar with twin pregnancies. Where were the rest of you at 35 wks?

At 35 weeks my babies had been delivered for two days!!! I was about where you were 2 cm, some contractions, 50% effaced, etc. and they were expecting me to make it to the scheduled c-section at almost 38 weeks but I developed preeclampsia and so they took them then when they decided I would not make it 2-3 more weeks and it wasn't doing us any good to delay at that point.

At 35 weeks I was 1 cm dilated (and 4 days away from delivering.) Because I was having a c section (no VBAC's and both breech) when I went in for my regular OB appt they decided to deliver. I was contracting regularly and had gotten to about 2 cm. Good luck!!

I am 36 weeks and 2 cm and I am still waiting for my c-section date in less than 2 weeks (I was 2 cm at 35 weeks too). I am not having regular contractions however.
I think it's fairly normal...but I don't think it is a predictor of when they will necessarily be born.

At 35 weeks, I had absolutely nothing going on with my cervix. At 37w3d at my scheduled c-section, again absolutely nothing going on.

Twins were my 3rd pregnancy. My waters broke on 35 weeks exactly. I had them 35wks+1.
I dont know if i was dilated , they don't check for dilation over here until you are in active labor.

I'm at 35 weeks too, and I am 2 cm and 50% effaced. I have been on bedrest since 30 weeks (that's when I started dilating), and my dr wants me to stay on bedrest so I have a better chance of making it to my scheduled c-section 2 weeks from now (it's not like I could get up and do much anyway!).
