    Hello, ladies.

I've seen where many of us have been sick while pregnant with twins. What worked to ease your nausea (if anything! )? I know some of us still have some weeks ahead...

    Thanks!

    Zofran (available by prescription)!
I puked from week 8-12. Once the 1st trimester was over I had some mild nausea, no puking, and that I could handle.
I also wore those sea bands on my wrist and for some reason I could get yogurt down. Once I had something in my bely I was fine the rest of the day.

I hate to rain on your parade, but nothing worked for me. Granted, I "only" had nausea and only actually vomited once...but boy was I still SICK all. day. long. Also, I TOTALLY lucked out and only ended up having the nausea for about 4 weeks...but I didn't know how long it was going to last while I was in it, you know? Anyway, I tried it all, and nothing helped. Actually, I found that I was less nauseous on the days I was in the office...like, "I'm at work, I'm busy, I CAN'T be sick..."

    Hang in there!

squeeze lemon juice and mix it with water or just drink lemonade.
It was funny but this is only "tea" what I can drink in first trimester. and later on I read that lemon help with Nausea.

I ate ginger with the twin pregnancy and also this one. It helped tramendously.
Some people eat it differant ways. Ginger ale, ginger candies. I bought a jar of it from the store.Like the ginger you get with sushi.

Ugh, I feel your pain! I'm so sick still ... and I had horrible m/s with my twins until 16 weeks ... and my docs wouldn't give me Zofran. I tried those sea-bands ... and I thought they were a waste of money. Lemon candy, lemonade, lemon anything helped a little bit ... But really, I have no good suggestions. Just a hang in there, and it will pass!

Ginger ale and sour candies...like lemon heads or any kind that was a bit sour. I have heard that preggy pops work and i have also heard they not make preggy drops ( a hard candy) and they come in a sour flavor. Available at Motherhood Maternity stores for sure. Not sure if they are available in other places too. Hope you feel better soon.

An RX called Diclectin is helping me so much! I hope it's available where you live - it's a Canadian drug. Vitamin B6 in therapeutic dosages can help a lot too.

I've found that making sure I have something on my stomach regularly takes the edge off, still sick but not as bad. I think the extra healthy snacking has also helped me gain enough to start out despite being nauseous to some degree all day.

Yes, ask your OB about B6.

Also, I had such nausea....but Ensure was a lifesaver. It was delicious and full of nutrition.

I also ate whatever I could tolerate. If pancakes appealed, I would try to get pancakes as quickly as possible before I changed my mind and the thought of pancakes made me nauseous.

I feel for you...REALLY!!! I have tried nearly everything this pregnancy and last and the only thing to work for me is Zofran.... a total God Send!!!! I am still on it at 18 weeks but am about ready to let it go... I felt absolutely miserable until about Week 15... but the Zofran REALLY took the edge off!!!

Good luck to you... there are many other home remedy type stuff to try, but if you're like me they don't quite cut it!

I vomited several times a day for a few weeks until I finally gave in and just went for the drugs! I found that I had to eat within minutes of waking up and all through the day to help get rid of the nausea. Lemon and citrus really helped me too. Good luck... and remember.. it does pass!

If you can get it, I would recommend acupuncture. I never was sick my entire pregnancy and it really helped keep me and the babies healthy all throughout. My acupuncturist can check for someone experienced in your area, just PM me your zip code and I will ask her.

I am pg with a singleton this time around and I got meds this time... I wish I had asked for some with the twins.

Sips of coke -cola (really helps hard not to keep drinking it)

lemon oil (the best !! check out health food store. in a small bottle great for your purse. YOu just sniff it) try cutting up real lemons and sucking them... not as good but helpful

vanilla foods like pudding, rice pudding.

when I could eat it was toddler foods like canned ravioli, spagetti. no large flavours.

peppermint tea even to smell was nice sometimes regular tea

those preggo pops or the candies nice for the purse if you go out.

Gatorade at least it it pretty when you vomit.

Small glass of ginger ale and 5-6 saltine crackers each morning almost as soon as I woke up. Otherwise I would be nauseous all day.
I only needed to do this for 3-4 weeks and then it went away.

Thanks for the tips, everyone. I've been on Zofran for a little over a week since there was worry of dehydration - it has been a big help keeping some things down. Too bad it doesn't kill the nausea. I've been sipping lemonade today, and it has helped some. Thank you for that tip! And, for some reason, the thought of vanilla pudding also sounds like I could stomach it... asking dh to bring some home from work! Who knew lemons and vanilla pudding would ever be so exciting...
