Neither one of my have a deep sleep, or atleast I don't think so. My mom was saying over the weekend how we would be somewhere & I would fall asleep. They could put me in the car, drive home, get me out, change my clothes, & put me to bed and I would never wake up. Some friends say that they can vacuum while their baby is asleep. I can't even pick my girls up w/o them waking up and if I do, they wake up as soon as their backs hit the car seat. Just wondering if they haven't reached the age yet, or if they are just light sleepers.

It depends - sometimes I can cough and they wake up and sometimes I am pretty sure I could drop them on the floor and it wouldn't wake them up!

I agree it depends on the day, the time, you name it... also I have am starting to remember my oldest as sleeping better than he may have too... perhaps your mom also "remembers" you as a baby a little differently than you really were!!!!!!! [IMG]

My two would wake up if we fussed with them too much! My dd is absolutely petrified of the vacuum currently!

Jackie that is too funny! [IMG] My oldest was afraid of our big green monster (our vacuum) until about 4! And now my littlest Patrick is afraid of it too! [IMG]

I agree with the PP it all depends on the day and time. Theres sometimes I can't flush the toilet without waking them .

I think some of it depends on what they're used to. Since my babies are #4 and #5 and all of our kids are under 5 the noise level at my house most times is crazy. My babies could sleep through anything, people are always commenting on how well they sleep.

But with 3 older siblings, 2 dogs, a cat and me and DH they better be able to sleep through it or they'd never get rest [IMG]

All my kids are light sleepers which makes nap time very hard with a loud 3 yo in the house
