how close is too close for b/g twins?

my b/g twins will be 7 in october. they always end up sleeping in the same room with different beds. lateley i catch my son getting up to get in the bed with his sister. I ask whats going on and they say they are just hugging. should i be suspicious?

If they want to sleep in the same bed, I don't see a problem with that, but I would get them a bigger bed so that they have more space.

I wouldn't be 'suspicious' but it might be time for a "personal space" and body talk, as in, what touching is okay by whom and when

 

I know a brother and sister (not twins) ages 5 and 7 who have their own rooms but sleep together in a double bed. They sneek in in the middle of the night and have been doing it since they were little. To me as long as every one sleeps well it is so great for family bonding. My singleton slept with us in one form or another until she was 4 and she just stopped coming into our room in the middle of the night. To me, they will grow out of it on their own.
