I am still in disbelief. It feels like it was just yesterday I was getting prepped for surgery and I got to meet my little ones for the first. Every day I fall more and more in love with them. We have had some rocky times with severe reflux, torticollis, asthma and most recently ear tube surgery and a citrus fruit allergic reaction. The good times really outweigh the bad though and the first year with twins has been amazing. Elizabeth is walking everywhere and starting to run, she says clap, knows 3 body parts, she dances, gives kisses and signs a few words. She understands just about everything we say. She makes us so proud daily. Thomas is cruising very well and close to walking. He is all boy. He is rough and aggressive but always gentle with his sister and Momma. He is a sweet little boy who has brought everyone he knows so much joy. We are so proud of him. They are having a birthday party tomorrow and another on Saturday in Pittsburgh. Between the 2 parties, they will celebrate with close to 150 friends and family. Although today I am sort of sad, I am excited to see what year number 2 brings. Here are some picture I wanted to share.
