I am only 8 weeks along with #4 and I have been so nauseous & sick for the past 4 weeks! With my 1st DD (singleton) I had a bit of nausea but mostly when I smelled something that didn't agree with me and I NEVER got sick. With my twin pregnancy I had massive nausea & vomiting through my first trimester but then it got better.
I have had 3 u/s so far and they have shown one baby but if I didn't know better I'd say it was two again! Plus, the fatigue is overwhelming again this time. Do you think it is because I now have 3 small children that need me & I am spread thin? I don't know how I am going to handle any more of this especially another 4 to 6 weeks of it! Any suggestions for nausea? Nothing I have tried seems to work & I fined myself forcing down food so I can have some nutrition for the baby. Sometimes it stays down & others it doesn't. I have a dr. appt on Monday so if I can't find some relief I am going to have to ask for something to take to help! Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

I found that my 'morning sickness' got worse with each pregnancy as well. . My first was similar to yours. .nauseus sometimes but no vomitting. . second one started getting sick at around 4-5 months about once a week very bad.. 3rd pregnancy (the twins) started getting sick around 4 months 1-2 times a week VERY bad.

Im sure these are things you are already trying but.. ginger ale.. ginger pops (lollipops) Im not sure if you get sick at a certain time, but I didnt eat after about 6 or 7 b/c it might cause reflux to be worse and cause sickness. I also didnt eat a lot.. i couldnt eat until i was full or i would get sick.. just enough not to be hungry. I dont know if this helped at all but I drank a lot of water and green tea. .
I've also heard from a lot of people that prenatal viatamins made them sick.. if you're taking them.
If you cant find any relief I would definitely suggest asking the DR for something to calm your stomach.

They say every pregnancy is different. I had much worse morning sickness with this pregnancy with the twins. Hope it passes really soon :)

 I'm sorry it has been so bad this time. I hope it gets better soon! I've heard that eating some crackers before getting out of bed helps.

I had no m/s with the boys, and with baby girl, I was sick as a dog until around 20 weeks. I was also so much more tired but I think it was because I had the boys to take care of.

Good luck, and I hope your m/s passes!

My first four pregnancies I had next to nothing. I threw up once in my first pregnancy. With the twins I was nauseous, but it was controlled by eating. And now with this pregnancy it was horrible. From weeks 6-14 I suffered so bad, I actually had to go on a medication called Diclectin (Canadian), but is the same drug as Unisom plus B6 (just different amounts of the said ingredients). Food actually made it worse. My Dr. let me get off my prenatals and made me just take the folic acid.

Here's another thread posted pretty recently.

I hope you get some relief soon.

sips of Coke really was good
peppermint tea even just to smell it
****** lemon oil -- look for it in a natural store it really was great to have in my purse and smell it. You can do the same with smelling fresh cut lemons but easier to have a small jar of this stuff to wiff.

    vanilla foods (rice pudding, pudding)
    sometimes regular tea
gatorade (at least it is pretty to puke up)

    most importantly get some medication....

I have been the sickest this pg, a lot more then with my first and then even worse then I was with the twin pg. I would have figured being another singleton pg that this one might be a bit better then the twin pg.
    Hope you feel better soon.

I don't have any suggestions beyond requiring the kids to have a quiet time every afternoon when you sleep and to avail yourself of kid videos to get allow yourself some rest.

The only time I had morning sickness was with my first DS. I actually didn't have it with the twins. When it showed up in my second pregnancy and almost had myself convinced that I must be having quadruplets or something since I was so sick. :)

I had no m/s or nausea with the twins..in fact, I was starving 24/7.

Then, when I got pregnant with Olivia, I was nauseous 24/7 for the first 12 weeks...then it got better. I never vomitted though.

Mine has been horrible since about 7 weeks and I'm only having a singleton. I take an anti-nausea drug available in Canada called Diclectin and it works like a charm! A vitamin B6 supplement can help too.

I was REALLY sick with dd#1. I threw up aLL the time. I had to bring a bag with me to throw up in on the way to work. I threw up in people's office's waste basket because I couldn't make it to the bathroom. I was a mess!

Sorry you're not feeling well. This to shall pass.

I hope you were able to get something to help relieve the m/s from the dr. Hopefully you will pass this phase soon.
