How big were/are your one year olds?

We are going for a 1 year check up in 3 weeks and I am just curious as to what everyone else's one years olds were for weight and height? What were their birth weights in comparison?

My two at birth were 6 lbs 5 oz and 3 lbs 4 oz.


My son has definitely made up for lost time and has been off the charts the last couple times for weight. Over 25lbs at 9 months. My daughter was 18lbs and a bit at 9 months. So she has done very well considering her slow start. So curious to know how much they weight now as it feels like a ton to me.

What about yours?

 

Mine were 6.3 lbs(G) and 6.6 lbs (M) when they were born. They'll get weighed tomorrow at their 12 month WBV; but when they were sick a few weeks ago G weighed around 23 lbs and M weighed around 20 lbs. I've worried about M because she's so little, but she's in the 50th percentile for height AND weight. She just looks tiny next to G who's the same height and in the 75+ percentile for weight.

 

My twins were 5 lb 12 oz (Nolan) and 5 lb 6 oz (Meghan) at birth. My singleton was 8 lbs 12 oz at birth (Liam)

1 year stats:

Nolan 29 " and 19 lb 4 oz
Meghan 29 " and 16 lb 13 oz
Liam 28.75" and 23 lb

at birth - 3lb 8oz, 16 1/4 inches
at 12 mos - 18lb 10oz, 28 3/8 inches

at birth - 3lb 4oz, 15 3/4 inches
at 12 mos - 18lb 15.5oz, 29 inches


Today, at 22 months, I'd say they are both hovering right around the 25 pound mark. Not sure on their height.

My girls are tiny

At birth Addison was 6. 9
Ava 6.8

At 12 months Addison 14.2
Ava 15.9

 

Mine were 6 and 8 lbs even and are 19.4 and 21.4 respectively. They are both 31 inches long now but I know DD is atleast an inch taller than DS.

 

After reading this post, my kiddos fit right in! Everyone tells me how tiny they are and it seems like they are right in the middle with everyone's babies!

 

Rianna:
At birth 4 lbs and 8 oz.
12 mos 21 lbs and 28.5 inches

Justin:
At birth 6 lbs and 2 oz.
12 mos 22 lbs and 31 inches

Their 15 mos check-up, same weight 24 lbs only 3 ounce different (Rianna 30 inches / Justin 31 inches -- no change since 12 mos)

Diana w/Rianna and Justin (they just turned 16 months old today!)

 

A birth: 4 lb. 3 oz., 17 1/2 in.
A 1 year: 22 lb. 8 oz., 29 3/4 in.

B birth: 3 lb. 14 oz., 16 1/14 in.
B 1 year: 22 lb. 3 oz., 29 1/4 in. (still exactly 5 oz. smaller than brother!)

Neither one was on the chart when they were born.

By 4 months, they were at the 5th percentile. We did a little, woo hoo they're on the chart dance!!

And at 12 months, they were right about the 50th percentile.

 

My guys' stats:

Jonathan
birth: 5.14 oz.
1 year: 25 lb. 30 in.

James
birth: 5.3 oz.
1 year: 23 lb. 30 in.

I'm so proud of everyone's success with their kiddos! Yay Mommies!

(I think they measured wrong though...her and Searra have been neck and neck at every other measurement since then )

1 year: Searra 20lb 3 oz and 30"
Ellie 20lbs and 30"

 

6.6 and 6.9 at birth and at their one year, they were 22.6 and 22.8. Never much of a difference between my boys--

1 year- 19lbs 12 oz.

 

Mine usually start big and stay big.

My first (singleton): 9lbs2oz and 21 3/4 inches; at age 1: 25lbs1oz and 31 inches

My twins: 7lbs11oz and 20 inches; at age1: 23lbs8oz and 30 1/4 inches (girl) and 7lbs10oz and 20 inches; at age 1: 25lbs3oz and 30 1/2 inches (boy).

My first has been 95% since birth. The twins more like 90% (girl) and 50-75% (boy) but my girl started dropping a little bit. She's way more active than my first was at a younger age.

 

Mine are always huge - born at 5.7 and 6.10 at one year they are 25 and 28 lbs. (The "little" one stayed little) My girls are always so big I wonder why they were't boys!

 

Lauren:
at birth: 6 lbs. 5 oz. 19.5 in
1 year: 21 lbs. 8 oz. 28.5 in

Emma:
at birth: 6 lbs. 1 oz. 19.25 in.
1 year: 22 lbs. 29.5 in.

 

Both girls were 5 lb 7 oz at birth, and both 18 1/4" long. At one year Keira was 21 lb & 31 1/4", Maisy 20 lb & 31". With the exception of the time they were 3-9 months old (when they had the cutest, roundest, fatest little bodies) they have always been tall & skinny, pretty much in the upper 90% for height.

 

My girls were...

Lily at birth, 6lbs 7oz
Mia at birth 5lbs 6 oz

at one year
Lily 18lbs 6 oz 15th percentile
Mia 17lbs 6 oz 10th percentile
Both at 50th percentile for height.

 

I don't have the baby book in front of me but I know they were both right at 18 pounds and 30" at one year (birth weight was 6,1 and 6,9 at 19.75"). For percentiles, they were 3rd for weight and 50th for height. I told DH that I'd love to be able to eat like they do and be skinnier than 97% of the women my age!
