how big is your bump?

I can't even believe how big my belly is already. I haven't gained much weight, but my belly is sticking out so far already. I expected it with two, but come on! I've heard that you show faster with your second pregnancy anyway so is it worse after twins? My dr isn't concerned with my weight at all and it's not like I've just been hitting the ice cream a little too hard - I really think it's just a lack of muscle left to hold it back! Anyone else with me?

 

I haven't had any after the twins but I can say that I got much bigger Much faster with baby #2 and even more so with pregnancy #3 (twins). I

 

Yeah I've only gained 18lbs so far and I'm measuring 2 weeks ahead but I know when I ovulated. Dr doesn't seem concerned. I blame the previous 2 occupants I have 2 other twin mommy friends--1 who has a 5 month old and the other is due a week after me and both said the same thing that they measure ahead too Those twins just don't want to be forgotten

 

I'd say overall, my stomach is just a little bit smaller, as far as my uterus the doctor says I'm measuring right on. I know I started wearing maternity clothes at 3 months, LOL, because my stomach popped quickly, and my weight gain, with 2 weeks left, is more than it was with the twins.

I'm not sure if the weight gain is mostly water or what. I retained quite a bit of water with the boys. I know because I was back to my pre-pregnancy weight 2 weeks after giving birth. This time my legs seem more swollen, so we'll see.

 

I was enormous with my singletons as well as my twins (but much bigger with my twins). I do have 10+ lb singletons, though

 

I showed early and got huge with Blake! I was constantly being asked if I was sure there was only one in there. I was expecting him to be around 8lbs but he was only 6lb 15 oz and 20 in long! I think I gained around 40lbs.
