How are your cribs set up?

When we set up the boys room we had one long wall that fit both cribs side by side and it was perfect for nighttime feedings. Now that they are pulling up they are laughing at each other over the bumper (one has a bumper, I was hoping it would give them a little privacy). If I move one to the other side of the room I basically have to redecorate. We were originally going to convert our loft into a room so that way they could have their own room but haven't done it yet. How are yours set up?
Mods could you link this to 1-5

    Thanks

When my girls were in cribs they were head to head. The crib we had was solid at the ends (no bars, it was a convertable crib) so they couldn't see each other unless they stood up. Which when they could stand they looked over at each other all the time.

Ours are on opposite walls directly across from each other. They each have bumpers on their cribs.

Ours are next to each other like yours and I wish they weren't... they wake each other up constantly because they always end up down at the same end of their cribs. So Patrick will wiggle down to the foot of his crib and Kevin will wiggle to the head. They have bumpers but its still not helping! Hope your decorating dilemma is solved!

Before we moved, their cribs were in a corner, so they were touching. They loved to be able to see each other and talk to one another. When we moved, even though we could have set it up differently, we set it up exactly the same way. They still love to talk to each other and now they pass stuffed animals and books back and forth. They usually "play" for about 30 minutes before they go to sleep, but they are great nappers and nighttime sleepers, so it really doesn't bother me.

We had our in an L-Shape, but Ryan is now big enough to lean over the crib and pull on the window shade. So we moved them across the room from each other. This way nobody can reach anything. We also thought of separating them, but they are such great sleepers that I don't want to ruin a good thing.

When our girls were in cribs (and also in their toddler beds) they were in the same room but across the room from one another. My thought was that they both had their own private corner of the room. Mine also had bumpers on their cribs.

Ours are also head to head. They can only see each other if they stand up. But they are standing up a lot and laughing at each other constantly. It takes them 30- 40 minutes to finally settle down and go to sleep.

Ours are lined up near each other- probably 4 feet apart. WE don't like them near the window during the winter months. drafty~

Our are on the same wall but its never been a problem with us.....They sleep through the night and I don't mind if they wake eachother up in the mornings because I like to keep them on the same schedule anyway.

The cribs are in a corner making a "L". The girls love to talk, play and pass binkies back and forth! It has never been a problem, and both girls are great sleepers.

I took the bumpers out when they started pulling up because I didn't want them having any help climbing out (which Trevor still managed to do at 14 months [IMG])

Anyway, the cribs are out in the middle of the room (to keep them away from the windows/blinds) with an aisle between them and facing each other. They talk and giggle and play peek-a-boo but they are good nappers and do extremely well with bedtime so I let them have their fun.

Occasionally waking each other isn't a problem because I want them to keep the same hours and they have a natural tendency to do so anyway. If one wakes earlier than the other, it's only by a few minutes even if the awake boy is removed from the room.

Our cribs are head to head so they can see and play with each other.

Mommy and Daddy love it because on weekends they'll play quietly together and give us an extra hour of sleep!

Our cribs are on adjacent walls (not opposite). Both heads are on the left side of a person facing the crib. So they aren't touching or facing each other. Their cribs are about 2-1/2 feet apart.

They stand in their cribs as close as they can to each other when they are awake - giggling. The also toss out their stuffed animals (each has 10 or so in the crib) and pull down the fabric pictures above their cribs.

I've been wondering how to do this myself when they get older ... right now we have them in a round crib and I don't know if I should transition them to 2 regular cribs or 1 in the round and one in a regular???

ours are in a corner in an "L" overlapping each other. DS has a bumper adn d does not. The other day I peeked in and saw the cutest thing. They were both lying down with their heads where the cribs overlap. They had their hands pushing the bumper down adnwere pulling on each other's hands and laughing. I love those moments. [IMG] They do play instead of sleep sometimes but that's okay by me.
